My self-summary
I'm pretty happy with my current state of affairs. I have a lust to find new adventures, meet new people and create a diverse and interesting life for myself. And I think I do a pretty damn good job at that.

Spontaneity is the spice of life. I once went to New Orleans on a fifth date.

Sure, I'd like a "real relationship," but I understand that it doesn't just, poof, happen. These things evolve. Honestly, I think I'm a pretty awesome girlfriend. I'll bring over growlers of beer, cook delicious food, happily give back rubs. What I want out of a relationship right now? Someone who is unique, who I can have spirited conversations with, have lots of sex with, do cool shit with, travel with, learn with. Then, have you go do cool shit with your friends and I'll do cool shit with my friends. Maybe we'll all get together and have a cool as shit party.

I'm kind of quirky, sarcastic and verbose. If you're vague about something, it's likely I'll start making up ridiculous facts about you, just to amuse myself. I can do a lot of crafts you've probably never heard of. I'm a little handy (just don't stand behind me if I have a hammer). I like learning new skills. My favorite workout consists of punching a giant heavy bag.
What I’m doing with my life
Last year was a 6 week adventure around middle- and eastern-Europe. By far, the highlight of my trip was when I went to Chernobyl for a couple of days. I took my life into my hands and rode 13 floors up an elevator in Kiev. Tip? Don't do that.

Next up on my list? Philadelphia, Seattle, Turkey! What's on yours?

I totally dig my job, and I'm happy I can say that.

I stayed up the other night to watch the blood moon. It was pretty rad.
I’m really good at
Making poorly-timed jokes.
Taking pictures of just about everything.
Appreciating little things.
And big things.
Not caring what I look like when I dance.
Finding cool shit to do on a weeknight.
Teaching people how to punch properly.
Making up recipes.
Missing the Frisbee catch EVERY DAMN TIME.
Appearing taller than I am.
Making lists.
Leaving lists I make on the table instead of bringing them with me.
Using the Oxford comma.
Pub trivia.
Getting lost in the rain in foreign countries.
Hula hooping with a beer in hand.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
Books are like air and light to me. The Sparrow was one of the best books I've read in years. Someone, please read this book so I can talk about it with you. The Invisible Bridge ripped me apart in 10 days.

I've recently gotten REALLY into history podcasts. Now I know way more about Genghis Khan than any one person probably should.

I dig movies. Action, comedy, drama, foreign, whatever.

Parks and Rec, Dexter, Daria. Aeon Flux.

Music and life are all about style (thanks, Miles Davis), hence: Dead Confederate, Airborne Toxic Event, Chromeo, The xx, Lana Del Rey, The Fratellis, Stars, As Tall as Lions, Alberta Cross. I love me some indie, but give me some New Orleans jazz any day.

Food! I'm a total foodie. And a great cook. The two go really well hand in hand. I'm a firm believer in garlic.
The six things I could never do without
Books, good friends and good conversation. Travel, a camera, kicking ass.
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Why the hell genetic engineers haven't made made me a miniature elephant.

Life, the universe, and everything.
On a typical Friday night I am
Dinner, drinks, bowling, dancing, skating, falling down, picking myself back up, laughing, dancing, cooking, living.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I was a cheerleader in high school because of a bet. But I wore a lot of black eyeliner and listened to a lot of NIN.

Sometimes I like to be the big spoon.

If it were possible, I would never wear pants again.
