Firstly, my vacation photos are nearly a year old now and I was looking a little tubby. Since then I've lost over 15 pounds and about 7% body fat. :)

I'm a Welsh/Irish/American mix who moved to New York from London last September. I've only been here a short time so I am looking to meet new people to show me the sights of New York. Now that I'm in America, I could also do with some buddies to explore this strange and foreign land with.

I'm easy going, very easy to get along with and try no to take myself too seriously. I'm very much an open book and willing to talk about anything. I'm also very straightforward...not always welcomed!

I'm into good restaurants and hanging out. I could also use somebody to teach me about American football. I've adopted the Giants as my team...I hope that's not a deal breaker for anyone!

I'm a big rugby fan and I'm also into stand-up comedy!

I am currently working in finance in Murray Hill. The job has led me to New York as well as helping me to travel the rest of the world (I was lucky enough to spend two months working in Hong Kong, as well as other locations globally).

Outside of work I'm a member of the Reebok CrossFit 5th Ave box and I'm also taking my UK accountancy qualification.

I'd say they probably hear me before they see me to be honest. Which is probably why the accent has been getting noticed.

I am very open and generally say what's on my mind...doesn't always go down too well!

I've been told my eyes are also quite noticeable as they're very blue...might be something you need to see in person.

Books - Admittedly I'm not a big reader but I really enjoyed The Broker by John Grisham. The Da Vinci Code. I'm reading Steve Jobs' autobiography at the moment.

Movies - Rogue Trader, Ted, Rock'N'Rolla, The Butterfly Effect, Van Wilder, Anchorman, Step Brothers, Role Models. Generally anything funny! The last Batman was pretty sweet as well...I want to be Bane!!

TV - Suits - great show!! Various sports. Family Guy. The Office. Netflix is a beautiful thing! The Big Bang Theory. I recently got into Mad Men as well.

Music - My taste is varied. I like a bit of everything! I like acoustic covers of pop songs a lot. It's cool to get another artist's version of a song. I also like a lot of hip hop and rock when I'm at the gym to put me in the zone!

Food - I love pizza! I am really into Italian food and Chinese food, particularly dim sum. I am also crazy about avocados in any form.

When am I going to get my laundry done?...What to make for dinner?...Future plans...Do I need to shave for work or can I get away with it for one more day?...Why people just step onto the subway trains and stand there...MOVE IDIOTS!!!

Either at a bar or restaurant with friends or at home in front of the TV with my feet up.
