Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
I'm Wes, I grew up in small town New Hampshire and never really
managed to leave. I can't think of anything terribly witty to say
that won't make me look like a nerd, but hey, if the shoe fits. :)
I'm a nerd, passionate, enthusiastic, and generally prefer animals
to people. I'm looking for my best friend, someone to share my
dreams and goals with, and share theirs in return.
I have a Catahoula Leopard Dog named Remy. Yes, it's fine if you
have no idea what that is, but he's a pretty cool dog for an old
man. The other dog is a German Shepherd named Rogue, also known as
The Hellbeast. In addition to them, I have a bearded dragon, a
frilled dragon, corn snakes (plural), and a pair of geckos. It's
less work than it sounds, and I wouldn't live without them. You can
expect to see me vending at reptile expos, hiking, or hanging out
I used to be a fairly avid gamer, though I haven't had much time
for them lately. I do enjoy RPGs, adventure/puzzle games, and the
occasional drunken TF2 round. I do play DND on occasion, and have a
plan to deal with zombies. Y'know; just in case.
What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
I'm currently working retail (not so great), and am a Certified Pet
Dog Trainer (CPDT-KA), as well as a small hobby breeder of corn
snakes. Yep, I'm a reptile guy. They're not as cold blooded and
ruthless as most make them out to be, and they're amazing pets. I
hope to eventually open up my own dog training business and expand
more into the world of herpetology and captive breeding.
For hobbies, I compete in dog shows, obedience and agility. When
I'm not out with the dogs or working, I'm pretty boring and like to
curl up with a good book. :)
I’m really good at
Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.
- Training dogs and understanding dog behaviour
- Making people laugh
- I'd like to think that I'm good at writing

Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food

Oh boy, here's the list.
BOOKS: Walking Dead, anything by Chuck Palahniuk, Vaughn R. Demont,
anything fantasy/sci-fi, Dragonlance, just to name a few.
MOVIES: Anything with action, is nerdy, or has zombies
SHOWS: Dexter, Homeland, Walking Dead, anything on Food Network,
anything with Gordon Ramsay, The Following, Castle, Buffy, Angel,
Six Feet Under, Queer as Folk, Archer, Key and Peele, Grimm,
anything by Joss Whedon or has Nathan Fillion in it.
MUSIC: Mostly alt rock. 30 Seconds to Mars, Tool, Foo Fighters, Goo
Goo Dolls, etc.
FOOD: Bacon. I'm mostly a carnivore and am very good at making
anything in the microwave.
I'm also a huge Celtics and Red Sox fan. Not big on football, but
starting to learn a bit about hockey. I have Canadian friends who
don't let me get away with being clueless about the sport.
The six things I could never do without
Think outside the box. Sometimes the little things can say a lot.
- My animals (listed them as a group, too many!)
- My friends/Sunday Night Game Night
- My computer
- A good, new book to read
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Global warming, lunch, or your next vacation… it’s all fair game.
Where I'm going to be five years from now. I've had the rug swept
out from under me way too often now, and it's made me more
determined than ever to accomplish my goals. I wonder if I'll find
that right guy to spend the rest of my life with, if my business
will get off the ground, where I'm going to go with snakes - my
mind is typically on the future. I might be a little lost in the
clouds sometimes, but I come back down. :)
On a typical Friday night I am
Netflix and takeout, or getting your party on — how do you let loose?
either at home feeding snakes, working, or out with friends. Let's
go to a bar, go see a movie, go have dinner, anything!
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
I'm FTM (female to male trans). I don't identify as trans or queer,
or "genderfluid" or anything like that, I just see myself as a
regular guy.... with some obstacles most guys don't have to get
around. I've been on testosterone for around three years now and
I'm honestly terrified of messaging people whom I find
interesting/attractive/both. Because of being FTM, I come off as
shy and insecure. When I'm with someone though, I'm loyal (to a
fault) and that person is my world. If I can make the world a
better place for you, I will do everything in my power to do so.
You should message me if
Offer a few tips to help matches win you over.
You're not opposed to dating a transman, you don't mind (or even
better, like) reptiles and dogs, and you are always looking to
learn something new. I typically won't respond to messages
consisting of "hey" or "how r u?" - if you are an awesome person,
show it! This site is about communication; how do you stand out?
I'm fairly easy going and like to chat, but you need to give me
something to go off of!
