I just quit my job in a field I thought I would love. Studying Biological Science at UOIT. I'm still working on my profile a little. INTJ.
What I’m doing with my life
I'm sort of in-between careers right now. I was a tool and die
maker apprentice, but it doesn't look like there was much of a
future there. I'd like to be in manufacturing, maybe? But the
medical field is so interesting, I could be something like an x-ray
technician. I love using machines, so hopefully I can find
employment somewhere in between.
I’m really good at
I hate writing things like this, it feels like a resume. I'll just
list a few things I do well?
-I'm a pretty good machinist.
-I like to talk. But I'm also a good listener.
-A gentleman never accidentally insults someone.
-I'm comfortable with silence, just sitting around can be nice with
-Trying new things?
I'm pretty average in terms of being good at things, I think.
The first things people usually notice about me
I've never really asked. My hair, I guess? It's shoulder length,
and fairly curly. People also tell me I have a radio voice, but I
don't really hear it.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
Books: Abhorsen, Of Mice and Men, Oryx and Crake (all-time favourite), The Dirt Eaters, various biographies, and a ton more.
Movies: The Prestige, Forrest Gump, Inglourious Basterds, Pan's Labyrinth, Cloudy with a Chance of Meatballs, I am Legend, Hannibal, Batman Begins, and so many more that I'm forgetting.
Shows: I used to watch a lot of tv, but now it's pretty much just Hannibal and... that's basically it. I've never watched Game of Thrones or Mad Men, but I'd be down to check them out. I'm behind a few seasons of How I Met Your Mother, but I'll probably catch up some day. Also a lover of Gravity Falls, and Rick and Morty.
Music: Aerosmith, Guns n' Roses, Run DMC, Cage the Elephant, Lynyrd Skynyrd, mostly classic rock.
Food: I love Vietnamese food, and I was lucky to go to school in a fairly Vietnamese area. Good coffee is key to a good day. For the most part, I'll eat anything.
The six things I could never do without
1. The Internet- not being tapped in to all the information and
convenience would be a drag. I could survive, but I'd need new
3. My dog- he's a pretty cool guy.
4. Coffee- life without coffee would be sleepy and boring.
5. School, or work- I'd get bored pretty fast without
6. Conversation- while I often get pretty sick of people, my brain
melts if I don't have people to chat with.
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Being an adult. What I want to do after school, finding employment,
and school itself. Girls, of course. Being single sucks.
On a typical Friday night I am
Sleeping after a week of work? At a movie with friends? A bar?
Loafing on the internet? I don't really have a "typical Friday."
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I have no idea how to meet people publicly. Do people just walk up
to each other and try to become friends? It's some kind of
Also, I'll answer any question you ask. As long as it's not about
my SIN number or credit cards.
