My self-summary
Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
Open minded, logical, full of random knowledge, my favorite book is the Atlas, listening to the Beach Boys in the winter, impossible to offend, never had my wisdom teeth or tonsils removed, I failed my driver's test last week because I didn't read the manual, yet have a flawless driving record for 18 years, cheese and wine.

I'm Louisiana born and bred but after college I left home to see what else there is to offer. From there I moved to Alaska, Colorado, and Yosemite. I was happy there for 7 years and then desired to back in a city without leaving the west coast. And Portland had what I was looking for as most of my friends I've made through the years are either from here or moved here from my hometown (Shreveport, LA, 4th unhappiest city in the country in a recent poll, there's a reason we all left). The nice thing about having all my Cajun friends up here is when we get together and cook.

I had been blessed over the past several years with a job that supplied me with plenty of vacation time. So I got to travel around quite a bit. It was a dream job secluded in the national forests but being away from society grew old.
What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
Finding new ways to experience new stories that I don't even believe after it happens.
I’m really good at
Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.
cooking, dissolving situations, manners, muddling, crossbows, forgetting my manners, keeping a conversation, making quick decisions
The first things people usually notice about me
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
Dimples and blue eyes.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food

I graduated with a degree in history and since then it's hard for me to read non-fiction. Some favorite authors are Neil Gaiman, Christopher Moore, Neil Strauss, Chuck Palanuik, Irvine Welsh, Chuck Klosterman.

Movies, too many to mention. I'll give anything a chance. Probably my favorite over the past 5 years is Southland Tales, and I really enjoy David Lynch movies too. Killer Clowns from Outer Space isn't bad either.

Shows, I've kinda lost grip on what's a good show to watch nowadays. If anything I hear enough from friends, then two years later I watch it on Netflix.

Music. That's too big of a topic.

Food. Yes I'm hungry. Vegetables sound great. Fruit is delicious, I'll take some grains too. Meat is nice too just keep out the fatty parts unless we're talking about cracklins.
The six things I could never do without
Think outside the box. Sometimes the little things can say a lot.
Feet
Something to read
Thumbs
Eggs
I'm out of ideas, I could do without a lot, it's happened before due to natural disaster.
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Global warming, lunch, or your next vacation… it’s all fair game.
Why cactus doesn't grow in wet climates. Pay wage of postal employees (hourly or salary), World Geography, What happened to Emilio Estaves, local politics, going to Africa and having a friendly encounter with a hippo, and the logistics of being a 3rd base coach in baseball.
On a typical Friday night I am
Netflix and takeout, or getting your party on — how do you let loose?
Either working or going easy as I work Saturday mornings. I'm not big on Friday nights. I enjoy Sundays and Mondays much more.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
There was this couple weeks of debauchery in Chang Mai, Thailand, there was no prostitution or sex changes involved, but I was a keynote speaker for a major protest against the government unknowingly after waking up from best/worst idea someone ever had and it's stamped on me forever.
