What can I say? I'm just your average guy with eclectic tastes in
everything. I listen to almost all genres of music from country to
techno. Reading, I go from the classics to gonzo. Really no rhyme
nor reason to any of it. I can't think of anything else to write,
so feel free to ask questions.
I am calm, grounded, and very zen.
What I’m doing with my life
I used to work in the TV industry on the east coast, but I'm back
home in Oly to pursue my goal of self employment. So far so good.
I'm slowly getting the hang of being a morning person again, and
believe me, it is not as easy as I thought it would be.
I’m really good at
Laughing, at almost anything. It is the best medicine after all.
I've also been told I'm apathetic, but I argue that life is not
meant to be a constant worry about what is happening or what comes
next, rather focus on what is the right thing to do and be true to
ones self. As we are all stuck on the wheel of becoming, why worry
every day about the little things and do what comes naturally and
enjoy life the way you want to.
The first things people usually notice about me
My voice. Ever since I was 13 or so, I would get confused with my
Dad on the phone. We both have very baritone voices. But now
several years later, people have told me my voice is deeper then my
Dad's. HAHA take that old man!
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
I enjoy anything by Hunter S. Thompson, Louis L'amour and Piers
Anthony. I've really enjoyed Hagakure, The Unfettered Mind and The
Art of War. Douglas Adams is up there too, but I have yet to read
all of Hitchhiker Guide.
Musical tastes range from Symphony X to Collective Soul, Five
Finger Death Punch to Hank Williams. Anything really.
Dexter, Breaking Bad, Weeds, NCIS, Psych, Bones, there all good.
The six things I could never do without
I know that's seven, but they are all important. Now, I would
really be impressed if you know what these seven ideals refered to.
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Existence. Strange I know, but it is a topic that has always
interested me. I think about nature versus nurture, and how that
may or may not influence an individual's innate qualities. I also
like to think about human nature and why we have the capacity for
evil. But my favorite is no-mindedness. Very boring stuff I'm sure,
but it makes for good conversations.
On a typical Friday night I am
Depends on if I am working or not. If not, hanging out with
friends, or doing some back porch sittin'.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
Uh... let me get back to you on this one...
You should message me if
If you want to. Is that the right answer to put here?
