I am a person with many interests and hobbies. I like to keep active and enjoy sports like snowboarding and lacrosse. I also enjoy cooking from scratch. I also like music. I play guitar and trumpet. I am in a few different bands (a concert band, a quartet, a swing band, and an orchestra) where I play my trumpet. I enjoy nature and like to hike and take pictures. I like to go out and have fun, be social and just love life as much as I can!

I recently graduated from university and moved to Kingston to start my career. I'm thinking about going back to school already and am looking for a good masters program. Right now I'm just going with the flow and seeing what opportunities come my way.

I'm good at a lot of things. Odd things. I'm pretty good at wood burning. I'm good at playing my trumpet. I make pretty good pizza... and I'm sure there are other things I'm good at you'll have to get to know me to find out!

I've been told by a friend that the first thing they noticed was my ear... is that usual? I don't know!

Favorite books? I can't say I have a favorite at the moment. I like fantasy and adventure reading, things I can escape into. Right now I'm reading a few text books. Not the usual pleasure reading but information I want in my brain.

Movies.... recently I watched an "ecohorror" called The China Syndrome with Jane Fonda from 1979. It was fantastic, I was surprised. I love to watch documentaries as well, and funny movies (tasteful ones).

Music: I love just about anything! It really depends on my mood. I have a variable collection from Dvorak to Lincoln Park to Tegan and Sara, AFI, etc. If I'm playing it I love classical trumpet ballads, Polka's, and just about anything jazzy.

Food...Mmmm food! I love to eat, I love to cook, I love to bake, I love to try new things and old favorites. Recently I discovered how Delicious eggplant is. I also try to go for local food, it tastes much better than that stuff that comes from the ends of the earth. I do eat meat but not that often. I like to make and eat vegetarian and vegan food most of the time.

Life, Love, Lust. Sometimes I just get lost in thoughts and day dreams. Sometimes I have a song in my head that plays on a loop, often I'll be singing along out loud. I think about what I am doing. I think it's important to be conscious of my actions and how it impacts the world around me.

Hanging out, sometimes by myself, sometimes with friends or family. I like to go out occasionally but not all the time.

I love the spice girls.... I went to a concert in '98... I was 12. I would go again if I had the chance today!
