My self-summary
Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
Hey, what's up? Yeah, no, everything's fine with me. Thanks for asking. Look, we should probably get some things out there, just so we both know where we stand on some key issues.

First off, Jesus. That one is non-negotiable. If you don't have a "relationship" with Jesus, you and me can't even begin to start to think about anything involving you and me. I'm a junior and senior high leader at my church, and I've been part of leadership for 5-6 years now. It's important for me to be with someone who feels the same way about things on a spiritual level.

Also, if I don't respond to you, don't take it personally. I probably just saw something in your profile that told me we wouldn't work.
What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
Well, I just got down here in Orlando and I'm trying to get my business going as a personal trainer. So things are kind of up in the air right now, but I'm trying to make it work. I have a lot of ambition and drive to become a published novelist as well, but you can read more about that in the section below.
I’m really good at
Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.
I do a lot of writing in my free time. So I'd like to think I'm good at that lol. I've written four young adult novels, each about 70,000 words, and am currently working on my fifth. I've been doing it for around twelve years, and have amassed quite the collection of rejection letters for agents and editors lol. Comes with the territory.
The first things people usually notice about me
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
I have a dark sense of humor despite being a pretty happy-go-lucky kind of guy. I'm good at finding the irony in everything. I like to push boundaries with people to see how they tick.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food

Music, man. That's always a great place to start. I'm not really a hipster, but you won't find me listening to much mainstream music. My favorite bands are Amanda Palmer, Bob Dylan, Frank Turner, Children 18:3, The Sex Pistols, LP (not linkin park), Jonsi, August Burns Red, As I Lay Dying, The Distillers, and Jack White.

Books: The Name of The Wind, The Wise Mans Fear, The Road, Harry Potter books, Choke, Haunted, Elantris, Survivor, The Graveyard Book, Invisible Monsters, Ready Player One.

Shows: I don't watch much normal television. Reality TV is a bane of my existence. The shows that I do like are Sherlock, Dollhouse, Firefly, Family Guy and that's pretty much it. I do have a soft spot for Anime, but I haven't really watched any in quite some time.

Movies: The Dark Night, Inception, Fight Club, Nightmare Before Christmas, Howls Moving Castle, Almost Famous, V for Vendetta...
The six things I could never do without
Think outside the box. Sometimes the little things can say a lot.
1) Jesus
2) Writing
3) Working out
4) Is it too cliche to say friends?
5) I'd like to take this opportunity to thank my friend, Music. Without Music I wouldn't be who I am today.
6) Vision
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Global warming, lunch, or your next vacation… it’s all fair game.
WORKING OUT!!! NYAAAHHHHH! Sorry, the Arnold impression doesn't really translate well over text. But seriously, I love working out, lifting weights. I go typically 5-6 days a week, and I do find myself thinking a lot about how I can change up my routine to push past my plateaus. And it would be pretty swell to find someone with a similar interest.
On a typical Friday night I am
Netflix and takeout, or getting your party on — how do you let loose?
I'm not a bar or a club person. I like hanging out with my friends, but typically we're pretty low key. If I do have time to get out and do something after work on Friday night, I like it to be something active: going to a park, playing disk golf, throwing the football around, volleyball, anything sports or actively related.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
I tend to go for girls with strong personalities because I can be pretty bold and opinionated at times, and in some of the past relationships I've been in I feel like my personality kind of steam rolled theirs lol. I don't want to be in a relationship with someone who is so reserved that they end up being subservient.
