My self-summary
Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
Listen: I have two stories to tell. One will be primarily true, but no story can tell the whole truth. The other will be primarily false, but with kernels of truth sprinkled in.

Story 1: I was a merman up until a few weeks ago, but I made a deal with an octopus-like sea witch and now I get to be a human for a few days, during which I must convince a human woman to kiss me. And not just a peck on the cheek, a kiss kiss. With tongue, running fingers through the hair, knees getting weak...that sort of kiss. Three days! Not much time. So I'm not saying "Hey, human lady, you have to kiss me," but I would at least like to chat for a bit, see what we have in common (Do you like swimming? Or sushi?), maybe meet up, see if the chemistry's there, and just let it take us where it will.

Story 2: I'm a human, who was in a stagnant long-term relationship that ended a few weeks ago, and am just now rising out of the funk that invariably accompanies the breakup of a long-termer. I'm over feeling sorry for myself, over the anger, over the whole thing. Life is interesting and full of possibility, and I'm embracing that concept more than I have in a long, long time (like, years long). So I'm not saying "Hey, lady, let's make out" (Unless you want to? Which, okay!), but I would at least like to chat for a bit, see what we have in common (Do you like swimming? Or sushi?), maybe meet up, see if the chemistry's there, and just let it take us where it will.

As previously noted, one of those stories is true; one is not. Believe whichever one you want.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
As a social experiment (and because I was bored. Mostly because I was bored), I created a dummy profile with a female friend's pictures and virtually nothing written, because I was curious to see what y'all ladies have to deal with on here. Ohhhhhhhh, man. How do you still even *have* a profile? Between the two-word emails, immediate propositions, and self-proclaimed "nice guys" calling you bitches because you didn't write them back within 24 hours, I'm amazed you haven't given up on men entirely. Thanks! We're not all that terrible. I mean, we're all terrible to some extent. Just not, y'know. THAT bad.
