My name is Steve. I'm a 32 y/o male living in Salt Lake City. I spend my days as a professional musician and musical educator. I play drums and compose music. I went to school in NYC (where I lived for a while), got my Master's here at the U of U, and am applying for my Ph.D.
I spend my days teaching at a Charter School, teaching private lessons, hanging with friends, working on projects, meditating in the morning (something I'm pretty into), and various other things.
My ideal night involves some sort of wine. My favorite food involves some sort of cheese. I'm a book snob but I try not to be a dick.
I def don't make a ton of money, actually that's kind of what I'm "working" on. If you're looking for a lawyer-type income please look elsewhere. Student loans suck! I either plan to be in a Ph.D. program in the fall or to be in a full-time job later in the year.
I'm at a point where I want to deal with my shit and build my life. I'm not looking for a "wife," but I'm trying to get out of the habit of short-term dating and meet new people that are really great.
I have strengths and flaws. I can be rather myopic in my work but fail to see the big picture; I work extremely hard but am in my head far too often; I can be selfish at times but the older I get the more I realize life is meant to be shared.
If any of this sounds appealing feel free to drop a message. I'm actually pretty cool (If I may say so) and see that reflected in the amazing friends I'm lucky to have.
