I am a film geek.

Also, am also very into serialized television shows (none of that reality shit). I adore classic rock, punk, and folk music. I idolize Joss Whedon (obviously) and Orson Welles. Right now I'm spending a lot of my free time working on a screenplay, learning guitar, or watching old films.

I'm passionate about politics and human rights, and voice my opinions on the subject very willingly. (For the record, I'm beyond liberal. I'm a Keith Olbermann flunkie.) I spent a lot of time and money trying to help fight Prop 8 in California. I' also an active participant in the Gay Straight Alliance at my college.

I'm very much an introvert, and have a lot of trouble initiating conversations with people I don't know. I'm a really nice guy, sometimes to my detriment.

Apparently, my personality type is "INFP" (The Healer).

I keep a running list of every film I've ever seen.
I know the capital and largest city of every country in the world.
I have a gigantic DVD and blu-ray collection.
I collect vinyl records.
I have a membership with American Cinematheque and attend cult movie screenings a few times a week.
I love to travel and have visited 11 countries and 31 states.
I once spent a summer living on a sailboat in the Caribbean.
I can read Hebrew, and used to be able to speak it.
I'm very passionate about animals, especially marine life.
I have never even tried a cigarette.
I believe that too much religion is society's number one problem.
I think good grammar is sexy.
My biggest pet peeve is when people misuse "you're" and "your."
I have a habitual need to sing along with musicals.
Renaissance faires make me happy.
I'm usually awake until at least 4 in the morning.

Just killing time, lots of thinking, music listening, film watching. ^_^

But when I decide to be serious, I'm studying film in college. I used to want to go into medicine because of how easily science and math come to me, but then I realized I didn't want to spend eight years of my life in school.
