My Self-Summary
Now, I can be a pretty random person, so here we go.
- I love going to Caribou Coffee, but I don't drink coffee.
- I think spitting is gross.
- I would like to some day live in a log house out in the woods, at least for a little while.
- I cuss like a sailor.
- I would like to try my hand at snowboarding.
- I play video games.
- I love being in the water, but I shy away from public beaches and pools.
- If I read or hear a word I am unfamiliar with, I'll actually look it up in a dictionary.
- I am a freeze baby.
- I prefer fake plants and flowers over real ones.
- I suffer from weak knees. ;)
What I’m doing with my life
I’m really good at
I'm a center brained type of person, so I'm pretty good with both words and numbers. I can be somewhat handy and have updated or fixed something in every room of my house and have actually been electrocuted by my house on three seperate occasions. Good times, eh?
I'm really good at my job but I suppose it helps I'm a bit of an anal perfectionist that takes pride in my every accomplishment, regardless of it's importance.
The first things people usually notice about me
My favorite books, movies, music, and food
As for movies, I love musicals, disney flicks and comedies. I absolutley love Ellen Degeneres' stand up Here and Now. I actually quote her quite often.
I love all kinds of music, but have a special appreciation for the golden oldies and light rock. I like country music as well and recently discovered my love of the eighties.
Have we noticed how loaded this question is, asking about favorite everythings all in one section. Ridiculous.
Food is good. I haven't tried a whole lot of ethnic foods, but I am broadening my horizons little by little. Feel free to suggest an interesting resturaunt to open me up a little. :) But if you want to really impress me, suggest a place where I can get a greasy cheesburger or a grilled cheese. That will rock my world. And considering this is a section for favorites, let me just put it out there. I have an orgasmic love affair with the orange chicken at LeeAnn Chins and the Chocolate Swirl Shake at Arby's.
Last but not least, television. I'm a little surprised OkCupid failed to throw this on their loaded question, but here goes. I don't watch a whole lot of tv. Can't stand the commercials and never remember when my shows are on. So I buy the seasons on DVD and watch them in my own time. I'm currently watching How I Met Your Mother and Big Bang Theory. I'm also a fan of Reba and of course, Lois and Clark the New Adventures of Superman.
The six things I could never do without
- My sunglasses, cause my future's so bright I gotta wear shades. :)
- The color blue, only the best color ever.
- Mashed potatoes, perfect for any meal.
- Music, I may be off-key, but I love to sing along.
- And of course the ever popular, friends and family, because what would I do with out them?
I spend a lot of time thinking about
- Nothing sucks more than that moment during an argument when you realize you're wrong.
- There is a great need for a sarcasm font.
- How the hell are you supposed to fold a fitted sheet?
- I have a hard time deciphering the fine line between boredom and hunger.
- How many times is it appropriate to say "What?" before you just nod and smile because you still didn't hear what they said?
- Can we all just agree to ignore whatever comes after DVDs? I don't
want to have to restart my collection.
- Sometimes I'll look down at my phone three consecutive times and still not know what time it is.
On a typical Friday night I am
The most private thing I’m willing to admit here
I can't parallel park. End of story. Don't judge me.
