FIRST THING'S FIRST! (Since I'm starting to see visitors...btw, welcome!) Just set up this profile yesterday, so it's still a work in progress. Enjoy watching the creative process unfold :)

[UPDATE: ok, it's been a couple of weeks, but still working on it...hey, Rome wasn't built in a day!]

I'm probably one of the most sincere people you'll ever meet - I've always worn my heart on my sleeve; for better or worse, you'll never have to guess what I'm thinking. I come from a very warm, caring, open family, who would do just about anything for the people close to us, and I'm very thankful for that. I'm from Southern California originally and hope to stick around California for the long haul, but I do LOVE to travel. I like most animals, and I hope you do too. I LOVE dogs and they mostly seem to love me back, which makes for good times for all. 5 extra points for any other dog lovers out there!

I'm a perennial student!! Currently, that means I'm a General Surgery resident at UCLA. I've finished 3 out of 7 years here - it's a looooong haul! Planning (hoping) to specialize in pediatric surgery afterwards.

That keeps me pretty busy most days, but in my free time, I like to get into some wild and crazy things, like playing soccer, catching a good movie, or really anything with friends.

Super Smash Brothers: my college friends and I were at one time seriously addicted to this game!

I taught myself how to play the "Ole, Ole, Ole" anthem on trumpet in 7th grade and marched up and down the sideline rocking it at my kid sister's soccer tournament.

Yeah, that really happened :)

You're down to earth, patient, funny (or not but think you are :), that may even be better), dorky in your own way, and have something(s) you're passionate about and can appreciate that in others.
