I try to think outside the pyramid.

I just got back (in mid Jan, 2013) from traveling for 3 months in Asia, and have been working in solar energy for the last 8 years.

Coming back I am able to experience life without the stress of feeling like I don’t have enough time, either to get my work done, or to enjoy my limited time on this beautiful planet. It’s a great feeling, and I'm excited to get back to improving the world, and to travel more in the future.

A big passion is making music and running a local FM radio show that's a total blast! Also I: ride bikes to the beach, hike in the North Bay, go out with friends in the City, BBQ on the balcony, chill in Delores, cook while listening to TAL podcasts, and scour the intertubes for current global events/news, lolcats, and art that elevates mankind on the couch...life is good. Care to team up?

Slingshotting toaster ovens into clouds, finding good views, laying down the groove, making decisions, camel pose, punching cupcakes, keeping my shit together while highly intoxicated.

I can have oodles of charm...when I want to.

Music: Dirty Projectors, Squarepusher, Elliot Smith, Golijov, The Books, Bjork, Radiohead, Beck, Tool, and thousands of others...also, anything backwards.

Movies: Brazil, Network, Thank you for Smoking, Wes Anderson, Coen Bros, foreign, indie, art films, etc.

TV: 30 Rock, Colbert, most HBO series, good nature shows, TED talks.

Read: NYT.com, A Confederacy of Dunces, David Foster Wallace, lots of non-fiction. George Saunders is next. Any recommendations?

Food: I tend towards the healthy/organic side, but my "diet" is often a victim of deliciousness. There are too many amazing restaurants nearby. [something about nachos]...Red is my favorite flavor of candy.
