My self-summary
Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
I'm 27 and employed, love music and art, love good beer and great whiskey, shooting pool, cooking, driving, and anything that makes me laugh. I have a crappy car, and it makes a horrible shuddering noise, but it runs still - kind of. If I don't push it to go up any incline at all. I have a job that I absolutely love and takes up an inordinate amount of time. I have a great family and wonderful friends, and frankly - it can be hard to break in with them, but that's what I'm here for.

Also, for what it's worth, I'm an ENFJ - Idealist through and through.
What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
Trying to get by. Trying not to let the shitty get too close to me. Trying to let myself breathe.

Right now it's tax season, so that is really what I'm doing with my life right now.
I’m really good at
Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.
Singing, acting, being accidentally funny, drinking, doodles, friendship in general. I am also a good driver. And I'm great with animals and kids. I'm also a pretty good shot.
The first things people usually notice about me
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
My sense of self, sense of humor, my eyes, my voice. Also my weight, but I think the perception of that wanes when you actually meet me. I'm sexy and funny and awesome. That's what you'll notice.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food

Books: The Dark Tower series; anything by Shakespeare - especially R and J, Titus, Winter's Tale, Richard III, King Lear and Merchant of Venice; mostly anything by Dean Koontz (the lesser Stephen King); the Walking Dead; Blacksad; Girl with the Dragon Tattoo; The Tent and The Edible Woman by Margaret Atwood; The Poisonwood Bible and Prodigal Summer by Barbara Kingsolver; the Kevin Smith Batman series; Classics like The Stranger, Brave New World, The Old Man and the Sea. Lots and lots of plays - Shaw, Albee, Bogosian, Cruz, Dietz, Williams, Foote, Hellman, Hughes, Inge, Lucas, Kushner, etc. I love American playwrights. The most important and special thing I've read recently is Daytripper. A graphic novel that actually changed my life. I'm on book four of A Song of Ice and Fire. I've still not recovered fully from Ned Stark's death.

Movies: Titanic, Brokeback Mountain, American Beauty, Inception, Harold & Maude, Drop Dead Gorgeous, Super Troopers, Eternal Sunshine, The Shining, The Goonies, Dog Day Afternoon, The Godfather (one, two AND three - even though three was obviously a lesser film, I think it's still good), Black Swan, Drive, The Color Purple, Schindler's List, Life is Beautiful. There are too many to really list here... lots and lots. I love film.

Shows: Louie. It's literally the funniest thing on television. Wilfred. Archer. The Simpsons. The Daily Show and Colbert Report. 60 Minutes. Dexter. Dance Moms. Weeds. Freaks and Geeks. Friday Night Lights. Battlestar Galactica. HIMYM. House of Cards. Gossip Girl. Don't judge me. I watch some television regularly. I'm a fan. Shut up.

Music: Too much to bear. I love most music. I'm not super into metal, most country, and much of the current hip-hop scene - though I love 90s rap.

Food: Food is great. I'll try (almost) anything. I love Indian, Thai and good Mexican. I make a great f**king pasta at home. Currently, I'm working on eating more protein and less everything else. It's going okay. I am constantly on a diet that I fail to follow.
The six things I could never do without
Think outside the box. Sometimes the little things can say a lot.
My family. My friends. Whiskey. Liberal politicians. Animals. Hard-earned money.
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Global warming, lunch, or your next vacation… it’s all fair game.
Politics, the impact of religion on society, what animals are thinking. Myself.
On a typical Friday night I am
Netflix and takeout, or getting your party on — how do you let loose?
Sometimes I just do nothing. Because my week was hard. Otherwise I'm out, drinking, socializing, dancing, scheming, hanging, etc.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
I'm a work in progress. And also, that I have an unusual attraction to men who end up having nasty, nasty kinks that I could never fulfill without laughing my ass off. Like diapering.

You get why I think Louie is the best show on tv. Also, if you are looking for someone who has their shit together pretty well and is totally awesome. And also, if you're a nice boy with a good heart who tends to do bad things politely. That oddly specific enough for you?
