I'm a self-sufficient guy, but I do want to find someone to share my time and to walk life's journey with. I guess that I don't need to include the physical stuff since you can see my pictures.I am both 'Christian' and 'Catholic' (Episcopalian to be precise), and am a bit annoyed at having to choose between the two. I love dark beer (Smithwick's, Newcastle, and Yuengling are favorites), wine of any kind, wine spritzers, and dirty gin martinis. I also love Italian food, both making it and eating it. I am half Celtic, 1/4 German, and 1/4 Italian in terms of ethnic origin, though the Italian dominates in my looks.

I am working in an auto factory while paying off my college debits, and saving up money so that I can, hopefully in three years, begin studying for the Episcopal priesthood. I never imagined ending up in a blue-collar job, but it's not as bad as I thought it would be.

I recently had a good first date with a wonderful woman I met on this site.

Remembering obscure facts, especially about history. Making witty quips about anything. Punning.

The Vorkosigan Saga by Lois McMaster Bujold is a current favorite. As a matter of fact, all of Bujold's books are wonderful. Read them. The Screwtape Letters by CS Lewis is the book that got me to take my faith seriously. The Harry Potter series are the books that got me to take a second look at Lewis.

The Bible, either in the King James or New Revised Standard versions are obvious choices. So is the Book of Common Prayer.

I'm a big fan of Japanese anime and manga, and of science fiction and fantasy in general, both books and movies. I don't watch TV much.

The original Star Wars Trilogy was a big part of my life- my parent's first date was watching "A New Hope" when it first came out!

The cinematic adaptations of Lord of the Rings, and the Chronicles of Narnia are nice. So is Tim Burton's Nightmare Before Christmas.

Favorite anime include Gundam Wing, Escaflowne, and Here is Greenwood.

God, good books, heat, my laptop, high-speed internet, Italian food.
