My self-summary
Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
I am open minded, fun and friendly, moderate to high energy person who genuinely enjoys life.
I am a professional working for a great company I like.
I enjoy photography, wood working, archery, video games, and participating in Renaissance fairs. It's been a fun hobby.
This year I took up indoor rock climbing and tango lessons and found both to be challenging and enjoyable, so when I am done working on remodeling my house in my free time, I look forward to doing those things again. That and going back to the gym regularly.
I have been with my wonderful wife (auntmonkey) for 16 years as she is my best friend and the woman I want to spend my life with. "We regularly challenge each other to grow in new and spectacular ways." This has lead us to a Ds dynamic that has me constantly evolving and growing in who I am as a person and as her partner in life. This has required an extreme amount of communication and vulnerability. Enough so, that I work very hard at clear communication with everyone in my life. So, I can honestly say that I would not be who I am without her, and I am happy with who I am.

So, if you are wondering why I am here. It is because it is a way to meet other interesting people that I might not otherwise. Maybe make a friend along the way, learn something new, find activity partners, etc. Even though I have a wonderful wife, I feel that if people are truly honest with themselves they would understand that no one person can fill every aspect of your life. Things like time, interest, and even energy get in the way. This is not meant to be any sort of short coming. It is about having healthy expectations of others and on oneself. This is why it is important to have friends in our lives.
What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
I work nights at my job and in the mornings I am remodeling my new home. Soon this will be done and I will get to enjoy the fruits of my labor. This will also give me the time to do the things that are more fun and less work. I want to find that balance again.
I’m really good at
Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.
Being a good friend and husband.

Generally being silly making a bit of an ass out of myself.
It really is an easy task for me!
The first things people usually notice about me

I have a perpetual smile on my face.

My Love (My Wife)
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Global warming, lunch, or your next vacation… it’s all fair game.
I spend a lot of time thinking about how much I have grown over the years and what I need to continue to work on, as I want to be the best person I can be. I also spend a decent amount of time thinking about how I can improve on the things I enjoy: Shooting archery, photography, maybe coming up with some new idea of something to build, or to just how to be more aware when I interact with people/reading body language.
I can be a bit oblivious at times.
On a typical Friday night I am
Netflix and takeout, or getting your party on — how do you let loose?
I am working those nights. Hey it pays the bills!
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
I started going gray at 17.
