I have had to learn how to function with ADHD without meds growing up as a kid. As an adult I have found that being on the meds had disadvantages that I felt out weighed the benefits. Though some close to me might disagree. So as much as I can be very steady and laid back, I can also be impatient and random. Though I have learned skills that help. I am still generally a fun person I think.
I am a professional working for a great company.
I enjoy photography, wood working, archery, video games, board games, cartoons and anime, hiking, sewing, indoor rock climbing, and participating in Renaissance fairs. It's been a fun hobby. Life's to short to be serous all the time.
Just this last spring I took some tango lessons and plan on doing so again. It was challenging and fun. Even if I was not very good at it.
A bit more about me. I want to be clear!
I have been with my wonderful wife (auntmonkey) for 16 years as she is my best friend and the woman I want to spend my life with. "We regularly challenge each other to grow in new and spectacular ways." This has lead us to a D/s dynamic in our relationship that has me constantly evolving and growing in who I am as a person and as her partner in life. This has required an extreme amount of communication and vulnerability. Enough so, that I work very hard at clear communication with everyone in my life. So, I can honestly say that I would not be who I am without her, and I am happy with who I am.
So, if you are wondering why I am here. It is because it is a way to meet other interesting people that I might not otherwise meet. Maybe make a friend along the way, maybe make something more then just friends (open to the idea), learning something new, find activity partners.
