My name is Jake. I've been a member of this site for quite a while now.

About me, basically... I'm a really easy going guy, easy to get along with and fun to be around, and I'm feircely loyal - I'd do anything for my friends, including take a bullet for (most) of them.

Well I'm a big gamer, at heart and in practice. I'm not obsessed (yes, I can put it down to hang with friends), but its still my passion. I played trumpet for 7 years, and I do play a little guitar. I love hanging out with my friends and doing things with them, wether its going to the Louisiana Boardwalk and shopping, or chilling at my friend's apartment staying up late playing video games, its all good.

You should know somethings about me though, for one, I don't care what others think. Or I try not to anyway. And I curse like a sailor. If that bothers you, don't bother talking to me because its such a part of my vocabulary that I don't think I could avoid it even if I tried haha.

Dislikes - I don't like stupid people, and when I say stupid people I mean the people that are just thick headed. There is a difference between ignorant and stupid. Ignorant is okay, stupid is not.

Something I relised earlier today - these questions on here often don't have the answer I'd like to choose. Kinda lame really. Thats like the kid question. I don't want kids, but I would be willing to if my wife wanted to. No option for that though. So if we do a WTF thing keep in mind that some of my answers arn't completley accurate to my real feelings. Eh. Just a little rant. Maybe that belongs in the journal section?

I'm not fond of distance relationships, but that doesn't mean I won't talk to you. If you find me interesting, shoot me a line.

Also, I'm going to a be a father come March. Its not something I want, but its still there. If that bothers you, I apologize, but it isn't going to change (as much as I want it to).

Working at Target and trying to get back on my feet. Doing okay, I suppose.

I'm pretty good at video games, and I'm sure I'd still be decent at trumpet, although I havn't played in two years. I'm also a good listener, and I'm decent at planning things out.

Usually either the hair, or the fact that I don't have the usual Texas "twang" in my speech.

Books - Harry Potter. I know, I know. I don't get to read much, but I really love the books based off of Star Wars, Halo and any other source I know well, like Gears of War. I'm also a HUGE fan of Max Brooks' Ultimate Zombie Survival Guide, and World War Z. I'm actually in the process of reading Twilight right now (go ahead, make fun of me, I liked the movie so I'm reading the book.)

Movies - I love comedy and action movies, and have recently turned into a huge zombie freak, so I like those too :D I'm not a big fan of horror movies, but I'll watch them with the right person, or if it looks good to me. Boondock Saints is win :D

Music - AC-DC, Areosmith, Austrian Death Machine, Avenged Sevenfold, Black Sabbath, Boston, Breaking Benjamin, Cake, Dir en Grey, Disturbed, The Eagles, Fall Out Boy, Falling Up, Fort Minor, Gackt, Green Day, Guns N' Roses, Iron Maiden, Killswitch Engage, Level 80 Elite Tauren Chieften, L'Arc en Ciel, Linkin Park, Lordi, Maroon Five, Metallica, Miyavi, My Chemical Romance, Nyhm, Panic! At the Disco, Rise Against, Tenacious D, Big D & The Kids Table...

and thats just the major bands in my music folder! I love everything but country and rap, and I'll even listen to some of that.

Food - I'll eat pretty much anything that won't eat me first haha! I really love Chinese food though, but my favorite food is any kind of chicken.

Lets see... my friends, my car, my freedom, my income, video games, and my phone.

What I can do after work to take up my free time, and thinking about my life in general.

Sitting at home, wishing I was doing something else.
