My self-summary
Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
Updated 7/21/13. It's time for Cinemette and I to do our yearly update! WE'RE ENGAGED! Yes, after months of preparing with my choreographer, I proposed to my love in a huge dance number at our theatre. The ring is perfect, everyone was weepy, and I could not be prouder to begin planning the rest of my life with this amazing woman. And it all started here on OkCupid. The past two years have flown by so very quickly and every day is better than the last, since I've found my way into her arms. I've never forgotten where it all started. Love is the last bit of real magic left in the world, so pursue it, revel in it, and never lose faith in it. ~WideEyedActor

Updated 6/7/12. It was a year ago today that the stars aligned for me and I was contacted by Cinemette, the girl that I've spent my life writing about and pining for in a way that only artsy doe-eyed hopeless romantics can. In six months, we've moved in together, redecorated our entire place, acquired a puppy and have planned out an amazing life of culinary adventures and reading together. This is all still so amazing to me, that i was found by my perfect girl online! She is my unexpected song and I cannot wait to see what happens next. Stay tuned, true believers.

Hello all! I needed to add this new posting to my profile. I could've disabled my account, but I realized that I had to get the word out. OkCupid works. I must say that, as I've changed my relationship status, I've found the perfect girl here. (Cinemette. She is perfect for me) This website really works! Seriously, she has quickly become my moon and stars. In the first few moments of us being together, all fear and doubt just dissipated and I knew that I had to be with her, and the feelings are completely mutual. She is exactly like me, with boobs. So, thank you okcupid. You've made the search for my darling so much easier. Take heart friends, this website is the truth.

This. Website. Works.

I've made the move from Columbus, Georgia to Monroe, Louisiana, and back to North Hollywood after studying theatre for seven years in college and receiving my degree. I'm not really from anywhere, I'm just perpetually wandering. I write sketch comedy and music, watch movies, cook most things with bacon and nutella, always searching for mischief and shenanigans. Adventure is the thing and i'll try anything once. I also want to spend the next year learning another language, either French or Mandarin.

I dig on quantum physics and The Found Footage Festival too. I'm teaching myself to play the ukulele currently. I want to know everything about everything. What can you teach me?

I'm a dynamic personality and great conversationalist, which doesn't translate fantastically to messages on here. Kind of a one sided thing. Honest and genuine, funny and engaging, I'm giving this online dating thing a shot.
What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
My goals and aspirations? Simply put, I just want to be a working actor. I'm not aiming for fame or fortune. I've studied theatre for seven years and have been on the stage for over 20 years. I'd like to put all my hard work to use. I've already hit the ground running, getting back into the business. Discovering Cold Fusion is also a goal. Both lofty ambitions, i know. I spend my nights writing comedy and watching bad horror films.
I’m really good at
Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.
Cooking things with nutella, being a hopeless romantic and acting as the getaway driver.
The first things people usually notice about me
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
My smile or my ability to make awful puns and jokes.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food

Ah, music. I'll give anything a listen. From dj keoki to the bird and the bee, jeff buckley, dethklock and finntroll. Everyone I meet can introduce me to someone new. More specifically, I dig Elli Perry, Franz Ferdinand, Wesley Willis, Clearlake, Modest Mouse, The Killers, Billy Idol, The Zombies, The Who, Pink Floyd, Flogging Molly, Frank Sinatra, Ben Folds, Fiona Apple, The Smiths, Mars Volta, The Dresden Dolls, Cibo Matto, The Bird and the Bee, The Whatevs, The Smiths, Silver, Richard Cheese, Dropkick Murphys, Andrew W K, Placebo, Weezer, The Beatles, Muse, Jeff Buckley, Radiohead, Gogol Bordello, Mc Chris, Dj Keoki, Jonatha Brooke, Rasputina, Darling Violetta, Louis Prima, Bobby Darin, Damien Rice and the list goes on..

And movies? Smokin Aces, Across the Universe, Rent, The 40 Year Old Virgin, Chase the Slut, Cyrano De'Bergerac, The Iron Giant, Dawn of the Dead, The Dreamers, Swingers, Anchorman, Rocky Horror Picture Show, Jesus Christ Vampire Hunter, Garden State, A Clockwork Orange, Talladega Nights, Casino Royale, Slither, Reservoir Dogs, Mel Brooks 'Silent Movie', The Jerk, The Rocketeer, Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind, Stranger than Fiction, Serenity, Ankle Biters (two words: midget vampires), SuperBad, and Deathbed: The Bed That Eats.

I can read the same novel over and over again. I love Brett Easton Ellis and American Psycho. I collect battered copies of The Bachman Books and follow the writings of Max Brooks (World War Z). The Great Gatsby remains one of my favorite books, only second to A Clockwork Orange.

I'm a Joss Whedon geek as far as shows are concerned. Arrested Development to Freaks and Geeks, Firefly to Dollhouse, I'm a champion of canceled shows. Community remains one of the best shows on tv that not enough people watch.

I'm always up for a culinary adventure, never one to shy away from trying a new food or cooking something odd. I recently perfected a recipe for both vegan snickerdoodles and candied chocolate covered bacon.
The six things I could never do without
Think outside the box. Sometimes the little things can say a lot.
1. comics (specifically, Green Lantern and Secret Six)
2. my chucks (best shoes ever)
3. coffee
4. bacon
5. Buster Keaton films
6. The Zombie Survival Guide
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Global warming, lunch, or your next vacation… it’s all fair game.
The scripts I need to finish writing and alternate universes.
On a typical Friday night I am
Netflix and takeout, or getting your party on — how do you let loose?
Hanging at The Tonga Hut in NoHo, chasing food trucks and getting into general shenaniganery.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
Try asking.... I can't give everything away so easily. What's the fun in that?

you're into witty banter, misadventures and culinary experiments.

I've discovered that I'm kinda oblivious to the intentions of women. If a girl is interested in me, it usually flies right over my head so you'll have to message me, "hey you, I'm into you" should do the trick.

PS... I've got a weakness for redheads, fun sized (short) nerdcore girls and Fiona Apple's Criminal. Those are my kryptonite.
