My self-summary
Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
I'm an American Expat living the standard life in the UK. I've lived here for about 6 years. Originally from outside of D.C. in Maryland, (I'll leave it to you to make a biscuit joke here)

I seem like I don't talk much at first, but that's because I'm more of a listener and a thinker. I think before speaking, probably too much. Unless you get a few drinks in me, then I'll talk more than I should and end up getting a case of foot in mouth syndrome.

I'm a lefty.

I'm up for spontaneous adventure.

I'm basically looking for someone to spend this crazy roller-coaster of life with, aren't we all?
What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
Working. Living. Playing. One day at a time like everyone else.
I enjoy my work, the diversity keeps me entertained.

Trying to get back into shape. I've taken a far too long hiatus from exercising. I'm not an exercise junkie, but I do want to maintain a modicum of athleticism.

Saving to hopefully purchase a home to call my own.
I’m really good at
Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.
Finding my way around. I pretty much never get lost. As a child I would literally run into the massive forest behind my house (with my trusty canine companion) in random directions and try to find my way back home.

Giving nonsensical gifts, because it's much more interesting than giving standard gifts. I won't give examples, that would simply ruin the surprise.
The first things people usually notice about me
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
The accent I guess, it's kind of hard to hide.

I am often told I don't look my age. At 25 you get insulted when asked for identification buying a bottle of wine, at 35 you laugh.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food

My musical taste range is incredibly vast. I have no defining genre, It mostly depends on my mood. I'm sure this applies to most people.

Need to get pumped up? Pennywise.
Time to be silly? The most cheesy 80s pop you can get your hands on.
Feeling nostalgic? 70s & 90s. All your classic 70s rock and 90s underground hip-hop.
When I want to relax I will listen to some R. Carlos Nakai. I am part Native American (Cherokee).
That and tons more. More of a conversation topic in person.

Food next? Ok then.

I lived in South Korea for a year, and I love the food! Tell me you have never had Korean BBQ, I will personally bring it over and cook it up (which mind you is not inflating my cooking skills,
it's literally one of the easiest BBQs to cook).

Growing up near the water, I love me some good fresh seafood (as in caught that day fresh). I enjoy a good Mexican, hot Indian curry, Italian risotto, and mouth-watering steaks. I need to stop though, all this food talk is making me hungry.

Movies. I like them. I like curling up with someone to watch a good flick. I like many different ones, comedies, dramas, etc. I would list them all...instead I will honestly list the last 5 movies I've watched on Netflix: Robocop, Clerks, Army of Darkness, The Wraith, Fast Times at Ridgemont High. What the hell did I just admit to?

Currently watching: Peep Show, why the hell did no one tell me about Peep Show?! I've been here 6 years! No one told me!
The six things I could never do without
Think outside the box. Sometimes the little things can say a lot.
Unoriginal sarcastic answers.
The internet.
Music.
Nostalgia.
Not finishing lists completely.

I can actually live without quite a lot.
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Global warming, lunch, or your next vacation… it’s all fair game.
Deep thoughts? Deep thoughts...shallow ones too.

If all the space in my brain that holds music lyrics and random movie quotes held actual useful information, I'm pretty sure I could achieve world peace.
On a typical Friday night I am
Netflix and takeout, or getting your party on — how do you let loose?
I could say I'm going out doing amazing things and generally being the most interesting person anyone's ever met!

I could be out, I could be in. Who knows. I enjoy both.

There's an opening for someone to join me on a night out, or a night in.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
There's a time and place for private discussion, a public internet forum is not one of them. All in good time.

18 and Life by Skid Row may have come on the radio today. I may have loudly sung along to it. Don't judge me, I was fully aware of what was going on.
