My self-summary
Hey, thanks for stopping by my profile, but I'm not just some piece of meat for you (hopefully) girls to oggle at! Once you're done looking through my pictures (come on we all know thats the first thing you did) maybe actually get to know me.

First things first, Go Hoosiers! I'm a big Indiana University fan, I think it is the greatest place on earth and 4 years is just too short.

I am a hockey fanatic, I grew up playing since I was 4 (well my mom secretly made me figure skate when I was 4 but shhhh don't tell the cool kids).

I broke my femur when I was a Junior in high school while playing football during our homecoming game (I'm like a movie plot, so cliche). I spent the next year unable to walk and two years total recovering in Physical Therapy. I'm now 100% back to being me, and I can't thank my PTs enough. Thanks to them, I figured out what I wanted to do with my life, and not a day goes by that I don't appreciate the ability to sprint, run, and jump again.

I have insatiable wanderlust and I just want to go just about everywhere and see everything, especially if there is a mountain or a jungle. I love to go out on backpacking trips through the thick of it all and just live the experience. I've been on some amazing trips that have given me some of the craziest stories. Some of them are still unbelievable, even to me.

I guess I'll try to wrap it up before I go on and on. So I'll end this by saying, I am happy when its warm, and at constant war with my lethargy when it's cold...unless, of course, whiskey is in hand. I really love Chicago in the summer, but I would really prefer to one day be somewhere warm and tropical all year round.
What I’m doing with my life
Right now my main focus is to finish up the last of my prerequisites for Physical Therapy school and get ready to apply this summer. I hope to get in to UIC so I can stay in the Chicago around all my family and friends but I'm open to, well, much warmer climates as well.

I am currently working in the Physical Medicine and Rehab department at a hospital alongside Physical Therapists and Occupational Therapists. I help throw people out of bed and whip their butts back into shape after their surgery. I spend a lot of time deflecting flirtations of lil old ladies and accepting free cookies for "taking it easy on them." Work is fun and I enjoy it a lot, I really look forward to making a career of it, but I would like to make an adjustment toward working with more athletes. If I had it my way, I would have my own clinic in 10 years, have multiple clinics in 15 years, and sell them all and retire in 20 years...but we'll see if I ever have it my way, eh?

Otherwise, when I'm not at work, I'm usually out checking out a new place to eat around lakeview (love Pho's Hot and Spicy Thai Cuisine, if you can find it, go there). Going to shows at a local venue, or going out in general.
I’m really good at
ending up in the most ridiculous of situations.

you have a good sense of humor, have a great laugh and bonus points if you can make ME laugh! That is the number one quality in people I can't get enough of, the ability to make me laugh, I love it.

You must be able to hold up your own end in a conversation. Please be active and trying to conquer your goals.

Honestly though, you can't get to know anyone until you start a conversation with them. So lets start here with a good old fashioned "hi!"
