My self-summary
Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
Like everyone, I'm finding the process of summing myself up to a block of text to be a daunting task. So, instead of me demonstrating my inability to string together a coherent description that doesn't do you (or me) justice, how about some fun facts instead!!

Graduated from Hopkins, took a few years off to find out what I wanted, biked across the country, now I'm back at school for CompSci/CogSci.

I'm a bit of a geek.

I like debates and discussions that don't devolve into ad hominem spectacles.

Oddly enough I like how I look with hat hair.

I think a good pun is its own reword.

I plan on being an astronaut.
What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
Avoiding interstates!

Burning candles at multiple ends.

Getting paid to think about thinking (naval-gazing at its finest!).

A twentysomething trying to sort out what I'm doing with my life between a million different interests. ...and by all this I mean I'm doing the grad school thing.
I’m really good at
Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.
Hmm... so I don't know what I'd consider myself really good at so here's a list of things I enjoy instead!

* Singing and not realizing it...
* Cooking with friends
* Drawing/Writing ( things I'm deeefinitely not good at lol)
* Traveling ( or more accurately, getting lost in places where I don't speak the language )
* Hiking ( getting lost in places where it doesn't matter if I speak the language )
* Cycling ( for the first 30 mile, after that I wonder... )
* "Fixing" working things till they break and then fixing them again (I swear I usually have a compelling reason!)
The first things people usually notice about me
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
I'm not Neil Patrick Harris.

Food:
Trying (and occasionally succeeding!) to make things well beyond my culinary chops.

Sidenote: Occasionally I think I could shave and pass as a really tall 13 year old to get on MasterChef Junior but then the reasonable part of my brain politely informs me not only would that NOT work in the slightest but they'd sweep the floor with me! (Plus, I don't know if I could handle Ramsay's inevitable disapproval after that.)
The six things I could never do without
Think outside the box. Sometimes the little things can say a lot.
I don't know if I could come up with 6 things here, I'm pretty flexible. Family and friends? Oxygen? Passport.

Edit: Apparently I've made myself a cliche with this list. Ahh well, it happens I suppose. Maybe I'll change it at some point.
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Global warming, lunch, or your next vacation… it’s all fair game.
When/where I can go traveling next and who I can rope into it.

How unfair it is that guys don't have pants as comfortable as yoga pants. (Maybe I'm totally off with this one but bike shorts are hella comfy and apparently it's not socially acceptable for me to go around in spandex. FASCISTS!)
On a typical Friday night I am
Netflix and takeout, or getting your party on — how do you let loose?
Hanging out with friends or trying to catch up on work and instead getting sucked into one project or another.

Once a month Baltimore Bike Party/Lith Hall/4 Hours of Funk.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
I'm an NPR Junkie... I'm not sorry.

That and apparently I really enjoy answering questionnaires. Who knew?

You want to hang out, grab dinner/coffee, or go exploring and you think it's soooo 20th century for women to wait for men to approach them.
