Maybe we highlight those things because they're fun? Maybe they make us seem cooler than we are and our lives more beautiful? Whatever the reason, I'm sure we can agree that those words do not encapsulate who we are, or what we are actually looking for.
So, this is who I am.
I am driven yet down to earth, intelligent yet respectful, talented and humble. I am courageous without being reckless, passionate without being over-zealous, and compassionate yet level headed. I can be a ridiculous clown, yet know when and how to be serious as it is required. I appreciate and completely understand the ridiculous things that come out of mouths of babes, yet have been told I am wise beyond my years. I often have too many hobbies, and not enough time to fulfill them. I am passionate and grateful for the work I have and what I am doing. I am lucky. I plan to live in the countryside when I am older, owning a small quaint home that is full of ideas and life. I am interested in having a beautiful garden full of veggies, and herbs for cooking with and making tea with. I want to rely less on the powerful (governments, corporations and big companies), and more on the significant (friends, family, community). I am constantly brainstorming ways to make the world a better place and finding my role within it, but sometimes I find myself needing to take refuge from the world for a a couple days.. I love solo trips, and camp outs, long hikes and laughter that sees no end. I get lost in music, adore singing harmonies, and can always find the deepest sense of calm when around the magic trio: roots, rocks, and water.
Its a long description, and realistically is just a bunch of words put together in attempt to describe who I am. But I am more, and occasionally less, but I should remind you that I am also chill, I also love to laugh, and also love to travel.
