My self-summary
Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
Goober. That's honestly the best way to describe me, I don't know what that is, but that's what most people end up calling me. I moved to DC from Charleston, SC, via Seattle, and I'm loving it here. The motivational drive of the city is what I need; however, I wish the city were a little more art friendly.

I walk most everywhere in this city, (code for, I sold my car when I moved here), and I'm starting to get to the point I actually know where I am. I'm naturally quizzical, and find it hard to resist going down an ally that I've never been down. In the past I've lived somewhat of a nomadic life style and I'm kind of starting to get tired of moving all the time, so I'm considering calling the DC area home for now. I'm, also, really big into textile arts and trying to get into product design and production for leather goods. If there is anyone that might be of service with this please let me know.

I should also probably say that costume design, fitness, and intellectual curiosity are a big part of who I am. As such I look for people that are like-minded in those regards. I tend to migrate to the open minded free thinkers of any group. I, also, don't really care what people's political beliefs are, and I'm somewhat shocked at how people blatantly say they won't date a conservative/liberal on this site. To me that's just another form ego and elitism. I'm a laid back guy that can get serious for a hot minute about some issue, but then just let's it go in the long run as I'd rather be happy than right these days. I believe people are inherently good, and I try to respect people's boundaries, as I would like them to respect mine. If these are things that you have an issue with, there really isn't any need to keep reading. I can be loud and boisterous, and I love a good debate on ethics. At the same time I can really get down with some peace and quite away from the hustle and bustle of the city. I'm a "geek" at heart and there's no changing that.
What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
I'm working on developing my own custom design leather goods company, not as easy at I'd like it to be. So for now, I work in hospitality management till I can go off on my own.

FYI I LOVE ANIMALS! Just because I work with leather doens't mean I don't care about them! I grew up with horses, sheep, goats, chickens, cats, dogs, fish, and other pets, all of which I miss.
I’m really good at
Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.
Intuition about people's motives, one of the hazards of being in the hospitality world.

Ultimate Frizbee!!!!!!!
Making traditional green tea.
Falling asleep in parks. (Or ancient structures that have been around for thousands of years. Which is kind of what I was known for when I lived in Israel.)
The first things people usually notice about me
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
No clue, I'm not them. But most people comment on my childlike nature and random observational humor, I'm a kid at my core.

I also get a lot of my comments on the my bow ties, thier the fun, yet subtle power tie that says "I don't really care what you think I should wear."

Movie: Legends of the Fall - Best Manmance film EVER, possibly followed by Django Unchained, not a manmance.

TV: Walking Dead, How I Met Your Mother, Spartacus, Big Bang Theory, Firefly, Game of Throwns (marathon style, not week to week), Face Off (the only show I know of that I have planned my week around as an adult.)

Books: Buefort (you probably haven't heard of it, so read it you're missing out.)

Food: Most anything that used to be alive! i.e. Meat, but veggies are good too.

Netflix and takeout, or getting your party on — how do you let loose?
These days, I just go where ever my friends are. I still don't know DC well enough to say I go to, or do, one thing/place every Friday. In fact, a lot of times I work on Friday evening.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
I have a phobia of chalk, besides that I'm open to a fault. I am a whole person so I have to embrace it all.
