My self-summary
“Everyone sees what you appear to be, few experience what you really are.” -Niccolò Machiavelli, The Prince

I was born in the Midwest, moved a lot when I was a kid. I've lived in Michigan most of my life, but would love to travel, I'd love to see Alaska and Europe. I'm an only child, my parents are divorced. The person whom I'm closest to is my Cousin who's more of a brother to me.

I'm a voracious reader. Emerson said it best. "'Tis the good reader that makes the good book; in every book he finds passages which seem confidences or asides hidden from all else and unmistakably meant for his ear; the profit of books is according to the sensibility of the reader; the profoundest thought or passion sleeps as in a mine, until it is discovered by an equal mind and heart."

in my opinion you're never to old to learn something new or have fun. Life has many lessons to teach you if you're open to the experience, which I've tried to always remember. Life is a challenge not an obstacle.

I love Movies and Music and will give anything a chance, I try to check new things out whenever I can, you never know what can become you're new favorite movie or song. Movie wise Comedy is the best, who doesn't love a laugh? Music wise.. well, it depends on my mood.

I'm fiercely loyal to those closest to me, Euripides said it best "One loyal friend is worth ten thousand relatives." I try to be the friend to others I'd like to have.

I can be a Hard-ass at times(stubborn) when it comes to my principles especially.

I always try to hear the other persons side.

I do my best to take a step back from volatile situations and look at things rationally if possible.

I'd rather not give my word than break it.

and as far as my past... the easiest and shortest story of that can be summed up in one Latin phrase.
"Vulneratus non victus"
(Wounded but not conquered.)

There's more to me but, for now this seems a good introduction.
What I’m doing with my life
Living it the best I can and doing my best to make it better.
All I can do is work on the things I can change, that need to be changed. I'm working on losing weight, it's a long road but the journey is the best part. (I've lost 3 pant sizes and 4 shirt sizes almost) Victory will be mine! I look forward to being active again (going hiking/camping etc)

2012 reminded me of something that can be easy to forget.. Take life one step at a time, be patient and don't sweat the small stuff.

2013 Update: I'm still working on my weight, it is going well; not as fast as I'd like but long as I keep it off, slow and steady is fine. I've also been drawing more lately.
I’m really good at
Keeping a level head in an emergency.
Standing up for my principles.
Being good with kids.
I'm always learning and willing to learn.
Giving a damn.
Understanding that the small things can have a great impact on life, so you should never take them for granted.
Knowing the most random things.
finding the beat in music.
The first things people usually notice about me

Learning
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Lot's of things, this is the hardest box to fill because it varies..
how can I make my life better?,what can I improve in that I'm lacking?.. How are the ones I care about doing? is that a UFO or a plane? I wonder what I can learn today?

ask me if your curious I guess...
On a typical Friday night I am
Being a Giant and awesome? at home talking to friends and family or something like that. or learning something random... from Architecture to Viking Bladesmithing..
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
My first crush was kidnapped and never seen again. also ceiling fans are my bane, once you hit your head on one you never forget. and I am addictingly random with things I learn and research... I have seriously researched weird things such as, Walking stick woods, and how to electrify a car door handle. or, how much land would I need to grow firewood for myself... I am a random weird person and I'm quite happy that way

I have a minor fear of heights. (yes, I'm aware I'm a giant and yes I know it's funny)

also when I was a kid I practiced the Rice paper walk from the show Kung fu...
I’m looking for
  • Girls who like guys
  • Ages 21–32
  • Located anywhere
  • Who are single
  • For new friends, long-term dating
You should message me if
If you'd like to become addicted to an awesome giant/weird guy.

You wanna talk to a giant or perhaps hear more of the secret life of socks. (be wary of Argyle... *nod*) I've now actually written a bit of the story... thanks to the inspiration from a very lovely alien.

I may be the most awesome fucking person you've ever met *nod* never know till you message me!

You can dance well to "More Human Than Human" by White Zombie
(if you can dance to this song you win major keeper points at the very least, if not be considered marriage material haha)

If you're looking for someone real, a true companion someone to live life with, someone to go out with, someone to come home to (eventually) someone who can call you on your shit but do it without malice. not someone who's perfect, we all have flaws and they make us unique, we all have baggage and damage. someone to sit after a long day and watch some red dwarf reruns or just sit on the couch together and read.

DO NOT MESSAGE ME, IF...
You're a self-proclaimed “Drama Queen.”
You say all your exes are jerks.
You hate Star Wars. because lets be honest, that's just wrong.
