I was born in the Midwest, moved a lot when I was a kid. I've lived in Michigan most of my life, but would love to travel, I'd love to see Alaska and Europe. I'm an only child, my parents are divorced. The person whom I'm closest to is my Cousin who's more of a brother to me.
I'm a voracious reader. Emerson said it best. "'Tis the good reader that makes the good book; in every book he finds passages which seem confidences or asides hidden from all else and unmistakably meant for his ear; the profit of books is according to the sensibility of the reader; the profoundest thought or passion sleeps as in a mine, until it is discovered by an equal mind and heart."
in my opinion you're never to old to learn something new or have fun. Life has many lessons to teach you if you're open to the experience, which I've tried to always remember. Life is a challenge not an obstacle.
I love Movies and Music and will give anything a chance, I try to check new things out whenever I can, you never know what can become you're new favorite movie or song. Movie wise Comedy is the best, who doesn't love a laugh? Music wise.. well, it depends on my mood.
I'm fiercely loyal to those closest to me, Euripides said it best "One loyal friend is worth ten thousand relatives." I try to be the friend to others I'd like to have.
I can be a Hard-ass at times(stubborn) when it comes to my principles especially.
I always try to hear the other persons side.
I do my best to take a step back from volatile situations and look at things rationally if possible.
I'd rather not give my word than break it.
and as far as my past... the easiest and shortest story of that can be summed up in one Latin phrase.
"Vulneratus non victus"
(Wounded but not conquered.)
