My self-summary
Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
Hey there,

My name's Will and I try and apply cheesy phrases to motivate myself such as "Where there's a Will, there's a way" and other horrible puns.

My family is pretty much non-existent and growing up I soon learned that if I wanted to get anywhere, it was up to me to get there, and it's given me a drive get to where I want to be and achieve more than my parents ever manged to. It's really important to me to be financially independent and that's part of the reason I've been saving up to buy a house for the last 5 years (and why my car is kinda shit looking).

I love having new experiences and trying different things and I try to give something a chance before I decide how I feel about it. Not so much new experiences like Oh, lets try SHROOMS but more like "Hey, when was the last time you went to a play? let's go! or "it's a beautiful day let's go somewhere we've never been before!" I took my friends snow boarding recently and 3 of them had never even seen snow before, so that was cool that they were like "I've never done this before, but sure I'll try it!".
What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
I've been self employed for a year now, running a tshirt printing company. It's great setting my own hours and working from home. We also sell our shirts at the Armageddon Expo's, so I get to go to all of those as well as some in Australia which is great.

In between this I try and spend as much time with my friends as I can!
I’m really good at
Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.
The first things people usually notice about me
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
That I'm wearing a funny tshirt, and people say "I like your shirt" and I say "thanks, I made it!" It's pretty much my work uniform.

So many things....

I love reading Science Fiction and Fantasy, seriously too many books, but David Weber, George R R Martin, Patrick Rothfuss, Jim Butcher and Jacqueline Carey + many many more.

I love Firefly, Game of Thrones, The Last Airbender, Lie to Me, Community, Veronica Mars, Sherlock. I also enjoy How I met Your Mother, Southpark + others.

Last couple of years I've really gotten into boardgaming, mainly eurogames like Settlers of Catan and Ticket to Ride type stuff.

There's a whole bunch of movies I like but far too many to list and I also like to play video games now and then League of Legends as well as read the occasional manga / watch anime.
The six things I could never do without
Think outside the box. Sometimes the little things can say a lot.
Let's get the obvious Water, Air, Shelter out of the way first!
Reading! I read all my books on my smartphone, I love ebooks.
Friends! I love hanging out with my friends, holding parties or events and going out and doing things with them.
Good food! I hate eating takeways or prepackaged food if i can possibly avoid it, unfortunately laziness and convenience mean there's quite the temptation.
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Global warming, lunch, or your next vacation… it’s all fair game.
Whether or not I should finish that block of Chocolate I started...
On a typical Friday night I am
Netflix and takeout, or getting your party on — how do you let loose?
Either doing some last minute work, or hanging out with my friends
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
There is something strangely satisfying about drinking cold water out of a warm glass.

My idea of a perfect date is something low key that we can get to know each other and really get an idea about what we like about the other and what see if we have that 'click' of mutual interest and attraction. For me, dating is all about going out with someone whose company I enjoy (or hope to enjoy) and finding out more about each other.

If you like the sound of my profile and you'd be keen for some good conversation, let me know :)
