I am laid-back, wry, and resourceful.
My Self-Summary
Well, i've let this profile sit as-is for about three years now, I
guess it's finally time I do something about it! Lets see....well,
i'm a recent graduate of
business and trying to make that final
adjustment between the world of college and the 'real' world, full
of responsibilities and pragmatism and all those terribly unfun
things! At least for year, then it's hopefully off to grad school
for more punishment!
I'm a bit of a homebody, but with the right people I can be pretty
outgoing, it just depends on who's doing what.
Movies,
food,
music or just milling around downtown on
Friday night's or at someone's house..all are things i'm happy to
get out for, and maybe plenty of other things I haven't thought of
yet!
What I’m doing with my life
Currently i'm trying to find gainful employment while also
preparing to take the GRE sometime in August. From there i'll
hopefully be working and accruing enough cash to attend graduate
school next fall!
I’m really good at
Kinda vague, but i'm fairly good at 'figuring things out' so to
speak, whether it's anticipating how a movie is probably going to
end way before it does (Don't worry though, I keep it to myself!)
or otherwise..that's the best example I can think of at the moment,
but it applies in a lot of other places as well.
I'm also pretty good at carrying a conversation, or at least I like
to think so. For some reason I seem to do it better over the
computer rather than in-person, maybe because I have more time to
collect my thoughts that way. I still do pretty well face to face,
anyways!
Finally, I think I make a pretty decent cook. I only really started
making recipes of stuff this past year, but i've found an enjoyment
for it and people seem to like it!
The first things people usually notice about me
Oh, I have no idea. I'm pretty extraordinarily plain, total
faceless crowd member, you know? I'd say my eyes, but they're brown
and oh-so normal as well so i'd be lying. Maybe it'd be the random,
asinine comments I tend to make.
My favorite books, movies, music, and food
Good Omens by
Neil Gaiman and Terry Pratchett was a really enjoyable work to
me..probably one of the only novels i've read in a while.
Lord of the Rings
remains one of my favorite movie series, a bit of a nerdy
indulgence..I read the books too, but found them kind of dry for
the times. I enjoy lots of different kinds of music without really
focusing on one particular genre..country and pop don't have a lot
of representation though, i'll at least say.
As for food, quite a lot! Fine wines and dinners are always good
and when it comes to cuisine I enjoy Italian and Chinese (The real
kind, not the stuff you get at buffets or chain restaurants) or
Thai food. Big fan of curries and I was also recently converted on
sushi after finally trying it at an actual sushi bar as opposed to
the nasty store-bought stuff.
The six things I could never do without
My computer, Books, Car, Movies, Friends and Education
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Where to go from here mostly and what I eventually want to wind up
doing. In particular, i'm trying to figure out what i'd like to do
this year besides work.
On a typical Friday night I am
Out with friends or sleeping early after a long week.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit here
I am totally disorganized, my room is in a constant state of
near-disaster. I never make my bed and my clothes are always tossed
everywhere. Outside my room though, I seem the perfect picture of
right and proper cleanliness!
You should message me if
You want to talk, or have nothing better to do!
