My self-summary
I am on here because it is quite difficult relying on the bar scene to meet people when you work a full-time job. It’s my hope to find similar folks who enjoy venturing out on weekends for mountain hikes, new restaurants, great beer, and binge watching television shows on Netflix (preferably science fiction). I’m funny (I think), nice, smart, and a bit odd – but in the good way. I don’t go to chain restaurants or big box stores. I love sports – Phillies, Sixers, Flyers, Eagles. I also really enjoy reading. Oh, and music. But, I mean, if you don’t like reading and music – I can’t really imagine that to be possible. I enjoy television and film as well.
What I’m doing with my life
I work for a non-profit that is focused on urban core economic development. On the side, I am organizing a community based ecological restoration society. I have been and currently am involved in politics, community science, and environmental activism.
I’m really good at
cooking. I love to cook and do it often. I’m an analytical thinker and I like to believe that enables me to have a strong sense of assessment. I am a good writer and I can kick ass in a lab. I’m not a good singer but I like to believe that I am – especially in the car.
The first things people usually notice about me
probably involve my beard. They may also involve the amazing amount of mostly useless information I am able to spout at any moment. (Simply put – I don’t lose bar trivia.) Oh – folks definitely notice my eyebrow raises. I talk with my hands. I have pretty kickass dimples – yeah whatever, I’ll own them.
