What I’m doing with my life
Cooking crazy good food is my profession, however not what I will
be doing for the rest of my life. Kids are my passion, and I will
be teaching elementary school in the next few years. Not sure what
else y'all want to hear. Doing it right in Denver. What else is
I’m really good at
Just about everything. Kidding but seriously. I can do anything.
Except navigate this shit successfully.
The first things people usually notice about me
I've been told I sound like I'm from Wisconsin. Makes sense I grew
up in Milwaukee and spent time all over the Midwest and the East
Coast before moving out here 5 years ago. The only word I can hear
with an accent is the word Wisconsin. You be the judge. Also I was
informed recently my nose is bigger than it should be. These both
are observations from my room mates girlfriend. She's tiny and can
be pretty mean. But honesty has always worked for me
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
Don't watch tv really besides football Sundays and Mondays.
Favorite books are anything by Ayn Rand, Tom Robbins (Jitterbug
Perfume all time favorite), John Steinbeck was far ahead of his
time, beautiful works, The Hobbit will always be a classic, been
reading a lotta non-fiction lately. Not sure why. Love Netflix but
never really watch anything. Just look around at all the movies I
could watch and then pass out. Power-trippin pretty sure. The last
great movie I watched was Prometheus. Southern food is what I'm all
about right now. Biscuits and gravy will be a forever staple, and
Cajun food is starting to play a large role at mealtimes. But I can
eat anything. Neil Young is the greatest artist of all time. Saw
him at Red Rocks this summer. Changed my life. Electronic music can
be good but is mostly shit. Ratatat, The Killers, Lucero, Crosby
Stills and Nash, Blackstar, Big L, Pretty Lights, I like it all.
Show me something new. Please and thank you.
The six things I could never do without
Marmot Never Summer 0 Sleeping Bag
Broken-in pair of steel-toe Timberlands
I spend a lot of time thinking about
On a typical Friday night I am
Probably working. If not hopefully hearing music somewhere or
asleep so I can wake up early and ski some shit down
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I live moment to moment. To moment. Only way I know how. Wonderful
but it's gotten me into trouble
