My self-summary
I am originally from Texas and moved to Boston for school. I recently bought myself a condo which I'm in the process of decorating and fixing-up, perfecting my home-improvement skills. I'm learning lots of new things. For instance, did you know you can actually buy a "stud finder". I carry it in my bag with me everywhere waiting for it to go off. So far it hasn't found any good studs, but I keep hoping.

I'm told that I'm laid back and easily go-with-the-flow, but I'm no push-over. I'll wrestle you if I have to. (I'm short so I have a low center of gravity). I also have a competitive and ambitious streak. If I'm going to wrestle someone, I'm going to win.

I have big feet. And I drop things a lot, just a heads-up.

Also, I am not an angry drunk. I'm more of a chatty, tell you my whole life story kind of drunk.

I suppose the last bit of pertinent information is that I'm not much of an IM person. I'd prefer to exchange a few emails and then just meet in person, get coffee or something simple. Most people are much more charming in person anyway.
What I’m doing with my life
Science. And anything else fun.
I’m really good at
Fixing things and building stuff (also taking things apart). Online shopping. Dancing.
The first things people usually notice about me
Who knows!? I've never asked.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
I am constantly reading. I enjoy both fiction and nonfiction, but have been reading mostly nonfiction lately. I can't name favorites. That would be unfair to the one I'm reading now. I feel similarly about movies but The Shawshank Redemption is definitely at the top.

As for food, I love it in general but my favorite is definitely chocolate.

Music is a tough one for me to categorize. I enjoy everything from the Boston Symphony to rock shows (I've always wanted to be in a mosh pit (sort of)). I can say that I have never really appreciated country music the way you might expect for someone born and raised in TX. What can I say, my dog has never run off the same day that my truck broke down and my man left me for my best friend, I just can't relate.

Also, I listen to a lot of podcasts. Not that that is music.

Also, what strangers on the T look like naked.
On a typical Friday night I am
Either working late, or getting together with friends for a fancy home-cooked dinner and several bottles of wine.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I stuffed my bra in middle school. (whatever you probably stuffed your pants)
