My self-summary
[Portland based, in Stockton for April]

I am outgoing, gregarious, and enthusiastic.
Inquisitive, intuitive, and flexible.
Opinionated, honest, sensitive, wacky,
warm, strong, emotionally literate,
open minded, strong willed,
amusing, and mildly funny.

I'm into adventitious, adventurous, and simple living.

I am attached to
non-attachment.
I am burning angry bits,
doused in
unconditional love.

Caregiver, finish carpenter, bicycle mechanic, dishwasher/cook/server, construction laborer, truck driver, commercial fisherman, art model.
Not who I am,
but who am I?
And, why are we here?
I don't know much
about either question.

But I believe in
Myself,
and in
the Force,
or whatever you call it:
God, Nirvana,
Shakti, Ra,
Allah, HaShem.
Great Spirit, Gaia,
even Jesus…
It's all the same shit,
and by that
I don't mean the
Crap religions pass
I mean: The Shit.
(Sure, the Atheists might be right; my view of the Cosmos has no Hell for them, nor anyone.)

I also choose to believe most of us are doing the best we can most of the time—even if collectively, it isn't good enough—and that makes the world palatable. I take comfort believing that my/our potential still remains despite my/our present inability to manifest it.

I am not a jealous person and have dabbled in polyamorous relationship. I am interested in exploring the territory further but could practice monogamy with someone if it works and it's what we both want.

If i could change the world, I'd make the police accountable.

I love bicycles of all types, especially old 3-speeds, clunkers, choppers, and funky bikes. Did I mention that I like bikes?
What I’m doing with my life
Scheming, Schleping, Schluffing (quietly), and, hopefully, Shtupping (loudly).

Trying to figure out if the punctuation *always* falls after or before the close-parentheses. (and if not always, when?) I am 98% sure, the punctuation always comes before the close-quote. (Right)?

I made Portland media in March '12, when the cops busted me at City Hall for sleeping on my erection. I was woken up at 3 am and dragged to jail for "erecting a structure w/o a permit" (aka: sleeping on a 2'x6' platform similar to a pallet) while demonstrating against Portland's inhumane codes that inflict torture and sleep deprivation on our homeless. My lawyer and I went to court eight times over 5 months before the 3 hour trial, in which the judge found me *not guilty* of both erecting a structure and "IPO," (interfering with a Peace [sic] Officer). I've stayed active on the issue, vowing not to quit until blankets are legal: youtu.be/e4ujKOdaOco

Zoobombing.
Fathering.
Pedaling.
Building.
Being.

I sleep close to a third of it.
I’m really good at
Fixing bikes, fixing doors, fixing shit in general, sensing what's coming, asking the "wrong" questions. I'm an alright cook and I love doing dishes.
The first things people usually notice about me
I've been told I have a memorable face. I have a solid grin and an eclectic style. Kind weirdo is the box I fit in.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
Books? Lawrence Lyons's The Language Crystal, and Cormac McCarthy's The Road are a couple of my favorites. I dig Malamud, Percy, Steinbeck, Kerouac, Blake and Wolf (Naomi).

TV? Like the Dude, I prefer bowling. (i am a TV junkie, I'll watch and watch and watch, so i mostly stay away; never owned one.)

Natural Born Killers, anything Coen bros, unconventional movies, documentaries, and recently, zombie flicks.

Dylan, Madonna, Nelson, Burnett, Raitt, Cash (RIP), Cohen, Cockburn & Young. And, as much as I hate to admit it, I'm a U2 fan. (Was a U2 fan, until Bonor teamed up with Monsanto.)

I eat a lot of veggies, a bit of fish (mostly herring), a bit of dairy and egg. I was vegan for two years and could go back to a version of mostly vegan. I dig fermented and raw foods, thai is awesome as is anything super spicy; stir-frys and pizzas are sexy.
The six things I could never do without
hats
wilderness
free boxes
bikes
wool
connection/touch/belonging/love
I spend a lot of time thinking about
What a mess we've made out here in sector MilkyWay-G2V-Sol-161,568-E, and i wonder what will become of our Lil' Blue Marvel.

How glad I am to be in Free Cascadia.

Zombies and bikes and garden hot boxes and compost piles.

What lovely, lonely, torn, terrific, hurt, helpful creatures we seem to be.

If the shit is ever going to finally hit the fan.
On a typical Friday night I am
Rarely, but ideally, getting my Shabbos on. Other than that, Friday nights hold no predictability.

getting ready for Zoobomb.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I like doing extractions.

I believe flush toilets are an egregious waste of drinking water.

If you're really interested, i trade secrets.
