My self-summary
Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
I was born a poor, black child...

My name is Joey. It's short for Joseph, long for Joe. My favorite color is yellow. My favorite Ninja Turtle is Michelangelo. In my junior high yearbook, I was voted most kind AND most creative. I was kind of, sort of an orphan; for some reason, I don't fight crime. I either sleep four hours a night or twelve. I'm less anxious in front of a crowd than in one. I'm going to move to St Petersburg soon. Sometimes I go home without saying goodbye. Also, I'm handsome. Quite devilishly so.

I like; George Carlin, jumping over my couch, bottom shelf rum and hanging out in music stores for way too long without buying anything.
I don't like; Left-wingers, right-wingers, bottom shelf rum or oxford commas.
What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
The goal is to become president, fire everybody and quit. Ⓐ
I’m really good at
Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.
Singing, parallel parking, finding the differences in twins, solving Rubik's Cubes and finding my way around buildings I've never been in.
The first things people usually notice about me
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
Height, hair and high-top sneakers.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
Help your potential matches find common interests.
Books; A Wolf At The Table by Augusten Burroughs, Born Standing Up by Steve Martin, Sleepwalk With Me by Mike Birbiglia, Smile You're Traveling by Henry Rollins, Practical Anarchy by Stefan Molyneux. The Philosophy of Aristotle. I mostly prefer non-fiction. I like Bukowski a lot.

Movies; Abbott & Costello Meet Frankenstein(any of the classic Universal monster movies), Man On The Moon, Moon, The Outsiders, Evil Dead II, anything with Bill Murray.

Shows; Doctor Who, Workaholics. I don't really watch TV.

Music; Eminem, Alkaline Trio, Angels & Airwaves, Fake Problems, The Flatliners, The Menzingers, Teenage Bottlerocket, The Gaslight Anthem, Blacklist Royals, Dave Hause, Allison Weiss, against me!, Green Day, The Ramones, Elvis Costello, The Misfits, The Who, Sum 41, Sondre Lerche, Sugar Ray, Bobby Darin.
I enjoy listening to albums straight through. I literally never listen to the radio.

Food; I'm not really a food guy. Italian or breakfast for any meal is fine with me.

On a typical Friday night I am
Netflix and takeout, or getting your party on — how do you let loose?

-watching a local band in a smoky bar
-telling all of my friends that I have plans then staying in my apartment until Monday.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
