I am a single mom of a toddler, and working to pay the bills. I am a Unitarian Universalist, and fairly tolerant of most people so long as they are non-violent, and also fairly tolerant. I am also a Pagan, but I don't show that off on a regular basis. You wouldn't really know to look at me. I have one tattoo, no where interesting, and nothing fun pierced. I was born in Asheville, so I'm a native, which is pretty rare. I have traveled all over, and I love to see new places, and try new foods. I want to learn lots of languages, but I have limited resources at this point. I'm a pretty honest person, and upfront, I don't like mind games or anything complicated in relationships. That only serves to make me a nervous wreck and sanity is too precious to screw around with like that. I value sanity, I've known too many insane people with too many issues and I've had more than my fair share of dealing with that. I'm not looking to be anybody's mother but my son's, but I do like attention, of the right sort. I want a grown-up relationship with somebody who knows how to be in one. I'm also looking for a commitment, nothing too heavy, but something so that at least I know I'm in a relationship, and that the person I'm seeing isn't sleeping with other people. I don't think that's a lot to ask for, but some people apparently find that hard to do.

I am not into being a 3rd party to your marriage, just because it says I'm bisexual doesn't mean I'm going to sleep with just anybody. It simply means I'm willing to fall in love with the person, not the plumbing. If you are looking for somebody to "enhance" your love life with your husband or boyfriend, keep looking... I'm not interested.

Working on getting some loan stuff cleared up from my last attempt at higher education so that I can go for round two. Eventually I would like to buy a house and live the "American Dream" .. really I just want to be able to comfortably take care of myself and my son w/o worry as to where the bill money will be coming from this month.

Anything I try to do. Except most sports... but I rarely try to do them. I'm great with kids and customer service. I try to be nice to everybody unless you're just rude and mean and then I really don't have the time to deal with you. I'm very crafty and I like to create things. I knit, sew sometimes but only by hand.. (sewing machines scare me!) I paint, draw, do flower arrangements and wreathes, and I love fashion, even if I'm not trendy. Project runway is one of my favorite shows because I like the creativity involved. I want to be that glamorous and so forth, but can't always seem to get it together. I like to drum and make music, I also have been known to tap out a tune on the piano once in a while, but I suck at reading music.

Books: Historical fiction, things by Judith Merkle Riley, I adore some of the classics like anything by Jane Austen. I read Eat Pray Love recently and it was super. I like to read things where I can learn about either other people or other cultures or the past.

TV: I like Project Runway, I love Turner Classic Movies and I really get into watching the marathons of my favorite classic actors and actresses. I like Dancing with the Stars but not because of the stars, I like ballroom dancing I like CSI but I don't watch it very often anymore. I still love watching reruns of Star Trek TNG and old tv shows that aren't on any more like MASH, the Cosby show, The Addams Family, the Munsters, .. stuff like that. I have also recently been introduced to Flight of the Konchords? (sp) and I like it a lot..

Movies: I LOVE MOVIES!! I don't watch a lot of 'R' rated movies, I can't deal with anything too scary or violent. I love Classic Movies and enjoy Black and White films. I like Indy films and some mainstream stuff. I always am up for a good laugh!

Food: I don't eat pork or beef, other than that I'm pretty open to trying a lot of new things. I love trying foods from different cultures and places, and I love to cook. I even like vegetarian stuff like tofu and tempeh. I love to create in the kitchen

My son, my cell phone, a job, my mom, chapstick, and hope... lets add love and light and laughter to that!

Day to day stuff, what will I be cooking later, when do I get off work.. sex...

Working usually, but who says it has to be Friday night to have fun?

Private things out to the public aren't private any more so if you get to know me, then maybe you'll know.

You have similar interests to me and not just because you think I'm cute. I'm smart and funny and kind and I think those things are more important. And I don't know what question on here decided I didn't want to have sex, maybe because I'm choosey about who I have it with it thought I didn't want it at all.. That's just silly.
