I have been using the screen name Wompmeister since I was 12 years old, but I can't remember for the life of me where it came from. It has a nice ring to it though, am I right? Ok, so here's the life story in a nutshell: I grew up here on the central coast, and have stuck around because it is an amazing place to live and it also keeps me close to my family. I got a degree in biochemistry, which I actually used for a couple years when I worked for a biotech company. When I became a victim of the bad economy and got laid off from my job I moved onto my grandfather's ranch and found a job working for a winery. Not too long after that I discovered that the people in the wine biz have things pretty well figured out. So, I plan to go back to school soon and get a degree in winemaking. In the mean time, I enjoy meeting people who are socially and environmentally conscious. I also enjoy thinking liberally, drinking liberally, and laughing constantly. I don't mind spending time by myself, but it is nice to meet up with some friends for a drink and some good conversation once in a while. I love to travel. There are so many places I want to see. I am in need of some good travel buddies though.

Mostly making wine. But sometimes drinking wine, reading, collecting hobbies, mentoring my "little sister", doing crossword puzzles, growing vegetables, and hanging out with my 90 year old grandfather.

Trivial pursuit, racquet sports, miniature golf, ping pong, Wii sports, and a variety of other useless things.

I will read pretty much anything someone hands me and tells me to read. I love classic novels, modern best sellers, biographies, and I have finally been convinced to read Harry Potter (yes, I know it was written for children). I see a lot of OKCupid profiles that say they don't have time for reading. Make time people!

Recent movies that I recommend seeing are The Brothers Bloom, Role Models, and FLOW.

I can appreciate many different kinds of music. There are artists that I love from all genres.

Mexican and sushi are my favorites. But I also love Thai, Italian, and most other kinds of food. I can't bring myself to eat raisins or olives, even though I really want to like them.

My friends, my family, my bed, ice cream, good books, and caffeine. Every few months I get the bright idea that I need to break my caffeine addiction. I end up having a miserable couple of days and then I cave in and drink a Diet Coke.

my next move. In life, and on the dance floor.

Having dinner with friends, watching a movie, drinking a beer, or just relaxing.

When I was four years old I put an apple seed up my nose and never saw it again.
