What I’m doing with my life
i just went back to college after dropping out in '01. i actually
love it this time. i make time for it between shifts serving at a
restaurant in center city.
I’m really good at
naming that song, making breakfast, making you laugh, planning a
day/night out, scrabble (most of the time), dancing like i just
don't care (any time at all).
The first things people usually notice about me
my laugh - it's loud and unpredictable. in an adorably charming
way.
My favorite books, movies, music, and food
i SHOULD be reading my school books, but instead i'm reading
character novels, travel diaries, and i love you/i hate you.
i hate movie theaters, but i like indie flicks, foreign films, even a nerdy documentary every now and then (look for me at ritz or imax). i think a good comedy is rare these days. they don't make 'em like mallrats and wayne's world any more.
music: mason jennings, van morrison, ben kweller, rolling stones, eels, paul simon, jackson 5, roots, etta james... folky men and sultry women.
food: byob's, authentic mexican, indian, sushi, gastro pubs. i'll try anything once.
