Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
My 2 mascots have been Kewpies and Hoosiers (yikes!).
I love to play Liverpool Rummy with my family.
My favorite season is fall.
I love being outside, but I hate doing yard work alone.
My birthday is on Valentine's Day and I love it.
I always wanted a pet monkey when I was little (who didn't?).
I don't like gel toothpaste.
The scar on my face is from a Big Wheel accident when I was
I used to be in a TV commercial for the Jenny Jones show.
I consider myself spiritual as opposed to religious, but God and I
I love languages but suck at learning them.
What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
You can almost always find me doing something I love work-wise. I'm
currently working at MU and helping to bridge Asian and American
cultures through various programs. I've lived Chicago, China and am
now settled in Columbia for a bit. It's my hometown, and admittedly
a great place to grow up. I'm always searching for the next trip
overseas, and I've been really involved in volunteering in Thailand
I’m really good at
Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.
Finding humor in awkward situations. If you're feeling tense or
uncomfortable, I'm the one who is almost always going to crack a
joke. Sometimes it serves to lighten the mood, and sometimes my
foot goes so far into my mouth I choke a little. But if there was
no humor in this world, I'd have to go look for another world to
The first things people usually notice about me
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
Tough one to answer.... Physically, it would probably be my hair.
It's naturally curly/wavy, and now that I've let it grow long, I've
had a lot of compliments. Personality-wise, I would guess that it's
my desire to know people. I am interested in learning about
people's similarities and differences, and that enhances my
abilities to listen and pick up on people's non-verbal cues. Oh,
yeah, and there's also my humor that people notice - especially
when my foot enters my mouth.

I have so many depending on the mood (in all categories). I don't
tend to watch movies or read books over and over, but a few movies
I will always love are Ferris Bueller's Day Off, The Power of One
and the Fire, Water and Earth series by Deepa Mehta. Books tend to
affect me during different times in my life. I loved Red Dust, A
Fortune Teller Told Me, and any words that Maya Angelou has ever
written. A few great TV shows are Flight of the Conchords, No
Reservations, and The Daily Show. I'm a classic rock girl at heart,
but My iPod includes music from just about every genre - although I
am not a huge fan of most opera or recent country. I do however,
love Johnny Cash, Willie Nelson or Conway Twitty on occasion. Food?
Hey, bring it on! I can enjoy any cuisine if prepared with love and
an understanding of how flavors and textures work together.
The six things I could never do without
Think outside the box. Sometimes the little things can say a lot.
A car - did that while living in China and hated it!
Smell of fresh cut grass
Chemistry in a relationship
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Global warming, lunch, or your next vacation… it’s all fair game.
How to be a better person. I think it's important to recognize my
own strengths but to always keep striving to be a better person.
On a typical Friday night I am
Netflix and takeout, or getting your party on — how do you let loose?
Hanging out with friends - love a night of dinner, drinks,
conversation and laughter.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
I'm not a very private person. You wanna know what's up? I'll
either tell you or you can read it on my face.
