My name is Margaret and I'm a total nerd (but not in the having a really high IQ or being really good at science sense). I'm a bit of a health nut, I rarely eat fast food and try to make all my meals at home. My favorite form of exercise is jogging or walking. I love the outdoors. Only thing I won't do is scuba diving or anything involving extreme heights.
I absolutely love to dance, in any way, shape or form. I'm also a movie fanatic. I like mostly anything except horror. Film is probably my biggest passion. I try to write in my spare time but work, school and being a single mom keep me pretty busy. I also love music. I listen to just about anything, but mostly oldies. My favorite band is the Beatles.
I'm rather shy when it comes to getting to know someone, but I'm super friendly and I like to meet new people. It just takes time for me to open up. Once I get to know someone, though, I never shut up. I do like a good conversation. Having someone who I can just talk to, and about things I'm interested in. I'd really like someone who shares my interests so we have something to actually talk about.
The only real deal breaker for me are smokers; cigarette smoke makes me sick (yes, in the literal sense - it gives me a headache and makes me feel nauseous) and I don't want my son around it.
TO ALL THE COUPLES LOOKING FOR A 3-WAY: I am not interested. Just because I'm bisexual does not mean I'm interested in doing two people at one time (Sorry I have to do this but I'm getting sick of the couples sending me messages about this).
Writing: I started writing (for fun) in eighth grade. I mostly like to write my novel or screen play ideas, but I do some poetry and fan fiction writing as well. My friends all seem to like what I write so I must be pretty good at it :0)
Smiling/Laughing: It's pretty easy to make me laugh, and I usually don't hold back. Smiles are so contagious. When I see someone else smile (even if it's someone in a movie or picture) I just can't help but smile and feel better :0)
Movies: Star Wars, Star Trek IV: The Voyage Home, Wizard of Oz, Stargate, Batman Forever, A Hard Days Night, Help!, Cube, The Godfather, Scarecrow, Serpico, Scent of a Woman, Lord of the Rings, Van Helsing, Someone Like You, X-Men, X-Men United, The Big Red One, The Night the Lights Went out in Georgia, The Labyrinth, Garden State, Jurassic Park, 300, Psycho, Green Mansions, Big Fish, Trainspotting, The Island, Casablanca, Farris Buler's Day Off, V for Vendetta, Dirty Dancing, Where the Heart is, Some Like it Hot, Lawrence of Arabia, Schindler's List, The Breakfast Club, Sixteen Candles, Scanners 2, Gone with the Wind, Little Big Man, Memoirs of a Geisha, Moulin Rouge, Garden State, Untamed Heart, Robin Hood, Robin Hood: Men in Tights, Runaway Bride, Pretty Woman, Pirates of the Caribbean, Dogma, Halloween Town, 101 Dalmatians, The Rescuers, Indiana Jones, Iron Man, Dark Knight, Behind Enemy Lines, Kiss Kiss Bang Bang, Harry Potter, Tremors, Footloose, Toy Story, The Godfather, Captain America, Phantom of the Opera, Boondock Saints, The Avengers

Favorite Songs: "Unchained Melody" by The Righteous Brothers, "At Last" by Etta James, "Hey Jude" by The Beatles, "Tale as Old as Time" from Beauty and the Beast, "Come What May" from Moulin Rouge, "Shine On" by James Blunt
Books: Much Ado About Nothing, Hamlet, The Devil in the White City, Lincoln's Melancholy, Splinters of the Minds Eye, Of Mice and Men, The Hobbit, The Beatles Anthology, Paul is Undead, Abraham Lincoln: Vampire Hunter, The Wonderful Wizard of Oz
Food: I don't really have a particular favorite but I love trying new food, I think it's a lot of fun even if I end up not liking what I'm trying. I just don't like things that are spicy.
My Own Imagination
Various Personal Fantasies
I have a weird obsession with Abraham Lincoln, and know more about him than most people will ever learn in their entire lifetime.
I know way more Beatles trivia then is considered normal and Paul is my favorite.
Robin/Nightwing and Wolverine are my favorite superhero’s, but I don't really like Batman. I still watch the Power Rangers and I follow them all on Facebook and Twitter.
Most Disney movies make me cry, my favorites are Beauty and the Beast, Pocahontas, Mary Poppins, Aladdin and Mulan (in that order). I like almost all of them (though I am NOT apart of the Frozen bandwagon), these are just my top 5.
I'm probably not the most fun to watch movies and TV shows with because I am very good at picking out plot holes. Some people might consider it nit-picking, but if a character does something stupid, or a plot line doesn't make sense, then I WILL comment on it.
And, finally, I am very anti-religion. I have friends and family who are religious, and that is fine, but I know (from past experience) that different views on this just does NOT work in a relationship. Maybe this will drive away a lot of guys, but I am very firm on this issue.
Honestly, though, you should only message me if you actually want to MEET someone and intend to ask me out at some point. If you decide after a few days you don't want to meet me then okay, fine, I can take a hint. I'm not an idiot. I don't hound people with daily messages if they've stopped responding. But please, please, please, do NOT string me along, making me wait for you to finally ask for a date. Because if you don't, I will.
Also, if you use poor grammar or spelling there's a slight chance I will mock you (all in good fun, though). It's the English major in me.
