Movies: Tombstone, Secretary, Superbad, Hamlet (the one with Kenneth Branagh, not Mel Gibson), Jesus Christ Vampire Hunter.
Music: Grateful Dead, Ani DiFranco, Storyhill, Sufjan Stevens, Ben Folds, Magnolia Electric Co, Radiohead, Outkast, David Grisman, Led Zeppelin, Iron & Wine, The Roots, Portishead, Alison Krauss... This one is really hard to narrow down.
Food: Meat.
The six things I could never do without
music, intelligent conversation, the ability to create useful
things with my hands, rational thought, copious amounts of water,
and green plants.
I spend a lot of time thinking about
sustainable construction, how to make my dog less crazy, sex,
roller skating, music, poop (because it's hilarious), and how neat
it is to be alive.
On a typical Friday night I am
