My self-summary
Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
Here is an FYI for those who skim rather than read profiles. I am not single; I am in an open relationship with my primary male partner. This means He knows about you, He may even want to meet you at some point so that He feels I am safe. I am not looking to Cyber nor Cam with you, not have a one night stand, nor situations where we have sex but know nothing about one another. I am looking for FRIENDS with the potential of becoming FRIENDS WITH BENEFITS/POLY-AMOROUS/ETHICAL NON-MONOGAMY. Use Google if you are unfamiliar with Polyamory/Ethical non-monogamy. I return you to your regularly scheduled program... Uh profile...

When I meet people for the first time face to face, I can be shy; that is one of the reasons I like chatting with someone online first to get a feel for them, and when we meet we are not total strangers sitting in uncomfortable silence.

I do not take myself too seriously; simply put we humans are funny creatures. I find joy in simple things, sunsets, cuddling, good conversation, the sound of rain on an otherwise quiet night. Time spent in the Common, in a friend’s backyard watching cave man TV (bonfire), on a beach, in the woods. Don't get me wrong I like other not so simple things, Tech toys, consol/computer games, and the things that make modern life comfortable too.

I find people open up to me easily; they speak what is on their minds; tell me things they may not tell others and come to me for perspective or advice. This is a little strange to me since I feel I am not the most "put together" person on this planet, but then it may be my imperfections that make me approachable, and I could at asking pointed questions to get you to look at the situation from more angles.

My spirituality is important to me; a quick description of my religion is Eclectic Pagan. I have a unique way of seeing the world. My values and morals are my own, a mix of the Catholicism I was raised with, and the Pagan views I hold now. Most times they walk well hand in hand but sometimes I have to unlearn less open ways of thinking to find balance. :Edit: I was thinking about my beliefs today and ended up thinking how interesting that the heterogeneous nature of my Ethnic background (Amero-mutt) reflects the Eclectic nature of my beliefs and practices.

I want to add that my Body Type is Overweight. I am not some short skinny fine boned petite chick. Some people can't seem to tell that from my pictures, and don't notice my profile states 5'7" and overweight. I am working on being healthier so that I can enjoy sports again, but I'm not there yet, and it’s going to take a little work. So if you only like skinny minis or slightly chunky you may want you look elsewhere. "I'm all about the bass, no treble." ~Meghan Trainor

I have many different interests, and some people may think it’s because I can’t stay foc… ooooo look a shiny!! ……. What was I saying? Oh heh, focused… however, it’s just that I have had people in my life who have introduced me to so many things that just pinged an interest (and maybe a little ADD…) A lot of my activities have been pretty sedentary over the last few years but I really want to be more active, so more outdoor activities are needed, Boston is a beautiful "walking city". I love the outdoors, the Forest, the Beach, the Farm, the Ocean (on a boat bring the Dramamine just in case). Walking, hiking, swimming, (I love the water) playing a sport (be very patient I’m out of shape, unless you count pear).

I have a knack for Fiber Arts, Crochet, Needle Point (cross-stitch mostly), Spindling, Sewing.

I am a bit of a geek/dork/nerd… a gamer… RPGs, CCGs, MMORPGs (WoW), LARPs… though it has been a while since I’ve participated in most of those, it is/was something I really enjoyed doing. I still play WOW, "For the Horde!" and recently started playing SWTOR.

Conventions! I love cos-players! Shore Leave, Arisia, Gallifrey One, PAX East, Comic Con. Yes I also cos-play to some degree, I have a Gwen Cooper, Donna Noble (complete with a handmade Adipose), and Renaissance Gear, (I love bodices and corsets!), and have come to love circle skirts.

I’m also an Anime fan, it is a guilty pleasure, the artistry, the stories, and oh the silliness! Hayao Miyazaki is an artistic genius.

I really like learning new things and to do new things, or more about something I’m familiar with, or random useless facts. I am a sponge for useless random facts. If I could retain more important things I might be dangerous.

Once upon a time (high school) I was a theater geek, YAA at the Wang Center, and an "import" cast member for the BCHS dramatics society, 95-97.

I’ve always loved history, and anthropology… I love to know what our ancestors did… partly because of my spiritual practices (re-claiming), but even when I was young history sparked my interest, guess you could say I'm an amateur cultural anthropologist. So spending time in any kind of museum art, natural history, science, is a great way to spend an afternoon.

FYI, since they only let you talk about dogs and cats in the pet section... I also own a Colombian Red-Tail Boa (snake) at last measure she was around 6 feet long.

And I will end as I began with an FYI that I am in an open relationship/poly-amorous, we are new to this so please be patient, I like to make sure my primary partner is comfortable with what I am doing. You need to be OK with the fact that you are not my primary partner, or don't waste your time. If that doesn't faze you or are just curious keep reading. Please realize as well that I'm here to make friends first, and then if there's chemistry see where things could go.
What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
I am looking into opening my own small business. Being a crocheter, I have been told by friends and family I should sell my handmade items, so I've been looking into online venues from which to do this, and trying to figure out the retail value of my crafts. Considering how many people shop at Walmart these days it's hard to compete with cheap machine made items.

I continue to be in unemployment limbo. The jobs I keep getting offered are in my previous field and I'm completely burned out when it comes to QSR Management. I think if it ends up being my only option but to go back I will cry every morning that is how much I hate it. Having about 12-13 years in this field has caused me to be told I am Overqualified for entry level jobs in other fields, or since I do not have a college degree I am under qualified if I try to go a tier up, this has been a source of great frustration.
I’m really good at
Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.
Wow... hmmm.... Well I'm a good fiber Artist... I am good enough at crochet that if given a crocheted item, usually I can "reverse engineer" and copy it.
I mentioned before I'm a good listener, very patient. Though sometimes if I think a person needs some tough love I'm not afraid to give it.
I am told I am a great at snuggling on the couch to watch a movie and at being a great distraction.
Procrastinating is an Art form for me, so you may want to make the first move, send me a message!
The first things people usually notice about me
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
My eyes tend to be what people notice about me, perhaps because my glasses bring them out with a framing effect. I am also told my occasionally impish grin catches one's eye.

So many more authors and movies I like and love, just hard to remember them all to list. Ask me about a book or movie you've seen, possibility I've seen or read it.
The six things I could never do without
Think outside the box. Sometimes the little things can say a lot.
In no particular order... although Popcorn is close to #1.
1. Popcorn
2. Good Reading Material
3. Fiber Art Supplies
4. A charged iPhone or Tablet (need access to my patterns)
5. My Primary Partner and our "Chosen Family" of friends
6. Comfortable shoes
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Global warming, lunch, or your next vacation… it’s all fair game.
When I check my messages on OKC it makes me wonder why no one seems to bother reading profiles, and why some people think "Are you horny" or "Think you can take a horse cock" acceptable first contact messages. Idiots...

Also when it comes to communicating via writing/text not to many people seem to bother with grammar or spelling out words. I understand its quicker to write "u" instead of you, however it makes it seem like you are uneducated and unmannered when contacting someone for the first time. Spelling and typo errors do not bother me but bad grammar and laziness in writing does. Please know the difference between your and you're!
On a typical Friday night I am
Netflix and takeout, or getting your party on — how do you let loose?
If it's a Convention weekend then I'm at a party or chatting with other con-goers in the lobby. Conventions are awesome temporary communities, where people are gathered to share and participate in something they love. The atmosphere is like a high energy holiday!
If it's not a convention weekend I'm usually home alone bored.
Saturday day/night is when I go out to do fun things. See a movie, Dinner with friends, Drinks at a cigar bar, yes I occasionally smoke them.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
*Nerd Alert* I am a lieutenant junior grade and the CMO of my Star Fleet chapter... Sexy huh?

I like to bite off all the hard kernel bits from a piece of popcorn and save the soft parts in a separate cup to eat last. I don't do it all the time though. If you witness this then you are seeing me completely unguarded.
You should message me if
Offer a few tips to help matches win you over.
You have read my profile, and are willing to make real conversation online so we can learn a little something about one another before meeting in real life, and get a bit of a sense that you are not a complete creep that I should avoid.

If the behavior in this video is ok with you, then we will get alone great!

You are looking to make friends with new people and you live in or around the Boston area. I do not have a car, so T accessible meeting places are a must.

Should we decide to add sex to our friendship, you can host on occasion. My partner is still getting used to the whole open relationship/polyamory thing.

You have no problem that I am in a committed non-monogamous relationship with my "primary" male partner, which means that relationship is most important to me.
