My self-summary
People say I talk a lot.

I'm working on that.
What I’m doing with my life
I spend most of my time watching sports, watching movies or complaining about the Republican Party. I'm getting paid for one of those things.
I’m really good at
Bar trivia. Seriously, if you need a nerd to help win you a free dinner, I might be the guy.
The first things people usually notice about me
I know a lot of useless information.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
Books:
I've mostly been reading non-fiction over the last few years, but my two favorite books are The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy and Catch-22. I was also into Shakespeare when I was younger.

Movies:
I know The Big Lebowski and Jurassic Park better than most people would admit to.

Shows:
I was basically raised by The Simpsons. And my parents. I also love Seinfeld, but these days my favorite shows are Archer, Homeland, The Daily Show, The Americans and Mad Men.

Music:
I like pretty much everything except country, but nothing beats The Beatles.

Food:
Is it unhealthy for you? Probably that then.
The six things I could never do without
-- The New York Giants
-- My iPod
-- 24-hour mass transit
-- DVR
-- A frisbee
-- My passport
I spend a lot of time thinking about
When to book my next plane flight and where it's taking me to.
On a typical Friday night I am
Getting drinks or dinner or seeing a movie with friends. You know, like all the kids do.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I'm a Mets fan. Choosing to root for them might be the darkest decision I've ever made. Or at least the least rewarding.
You should message me if

I'm not necessarily expecting to walk down the aisle with the next person I meet on here or in the real world -- that doesn't seem too rational -- but dating has gone from exciting to oppressive in the last few years. I had my bachelor period. It was fun. It's over now. I'm not one to jump into anything too quickly, but if I find the right person I'm ready to leave the rat race.

Seriously, though. Don't be shy. My mom says I'm a pretty decent guy. You might, too.
