My self-summary
Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
I'm a tea drinking, deep thinking, book reading, amateur cooking, TV watching, traditional believing, sometimes chatty, sometimes quiet, almost teetotal, family focused, guitar strumming, piano playing, list making, non-risk taking (slowly changing), rain loving kind of guy.

I think I’m quite laid back and like the simple pleasures in life. I’m definitely more on the introverted side of the scale and I’d be happy whiling away my days spending time with those closest to me, going for walks, cooking, watching TV and reading books. It’d be nice to have someone to share it with.

My favourite time of the year is spring and I love the sound of rain on the window. I’ve never done much travelling (I’m more Karl Pilkington than Michael Palin) but it’s something I could definitely get into with the right person.
What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
My background is in Psychology and I’m currently working in a psychiatric hospital for people diagnosed with “schizophrenia”. Where I’ll end up going with it is a good question and would probably be better in the ‘I spend a lot of time thinking about’ section.

One day, I’ll write a novel or screenplay.
I’m really good at
Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.
Not judging people.
The first things people usually notice about me
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
You tell me.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food

Magnolia (it’s about chance, intertwined relationships and how you might be through with the past, but the past ain’t through with you)
The Indiana Jones trilogy
Lost in Translation
Blade Runner
The Fountain

Books: I love reading, but strangely I haven’t really got any books I can say are absolute favourites. At the moment I'm reading lots of psychology books in preparation for a possible PhD. I've also been reading a lot of political stuff recently.

TV shows:
Well, Lost is my favourite TV show of all time… which I think probably says quite a lot about me and represents me well. Also, The Wire, Mad Men, Game of Thrones, Orphan Black, Walking Dead, Great British Menu, Masterchef, The Trip to Italy, Have I Got News for You, documentaries and more.

Anything goes… except maybe death metal.

Food: I like cooking and eating lots of different food.
The six things I could never do without
Think outside the box. Sometimes the little things can say a lot.
Family. Curiosity. Music. That’s it, really.
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Global warming, lunch, or your next vacation… it’s all fair game.
Career plans at the moment. When I’m on this site, I spend a lot of time thinking how the personality questions are kind of useless (and they match us up with people we're not compatible with for experiments anyway).
On a typical Friday night I am
Netflix and takeout, or getting your party on — how do you let loose?
At the moment, most likely relaxing and catching up on some TV programmes or reading a book.

You’d like to save me the trouble of wondering ‘has she not sent me a message because she doesn’t like me or because she wants me to make the first move?’
