Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
Hi there!

I'm active -- I write, coach, and manage my business consulting firm. For fun: tennis, spinning, biking, kayak, blading, windsurfing, photography, good conversation and party with friends and a whole lot more.

Open, available, kind and funny, living the power of now.

My name is Xavier. To find out more, contact me.

My writing (on how to make the world a better place):

300 pages of inspiration. :) Intensely insightful and profound, similar in genre as THE POWER OF NOW or NEW EARTH, yet less esoteric and with a much broader perspective on all aspects of life, goals and relationships. Compared to THE SECRET, yes but on steroids. LOL
On a typical Friday night I am

Ask me when we are in private
Oh, heck, here it is. I love music and many types of it, including classical, jazz and chançon Française. I sometimes sing opera in the shower (poorly) or falsetto when I get hung up with a tune from EW&F. When in public, I sometimes begin humming bars to a classic melody or whistle my heart out (I'm a fan of Toots Thielemans, and almost equal his virtuosity) to a song that is stuck in my head. Or I improvise stuff (I compose a little). I literally have thousands of tunes in my head that I can hum or whistle, and sometimes sing. (I sang in the choir of the European Union as an amateur alto). I also play various musical instruments at different degrees of proficiency that I love to practice (and I will pick up other instruments to learn--LOL--I promise). I absolutely love Pat Metheny (search for and check out "Are you going with me" --Pat Metheny).
In the past, I was denied indulging in some of those wonderful pleasures (to me) and sources of strong feelings (for me) and outlets for expression. So if you can't stand that sort of unruly behavior, or aren't wiling to share the "music time" with me and mix it up a little quoi genres, we may run in a bit of a quandary at some point. ;)
There you have it. I've never really admitted that to anyone, not even my ex.--LOL

In gratitude for reading this, a little musical present for you:
Who else? LOL
I’m looking for

  • Ages 32–47
  • Near me
  • For new friends, long-term dating, short-term dating

Offer a few tips to help matches win you over.
You'd enjoy exploring life with a man that has a good head on a pair of strong shoulders. You are available, open-minded, like-minded, not into games, know what you are looking for. You love to laugh, talk and do something wild and spontaneous once in a while.

I am keen in finding in a partner, someone who is supportive of the message and philosophy I outline in my book, as I'm only just getting warmed up and plan on pursuing very exciting plans in line with this message. Be ready to hit the road and maybe a bit of spotlight... if you look good, please help me keep the spotlight off of me--I'm about the message and less the presentation--, that's where you could help. :))

Please, take no offense, but I look for youthful women that take care of themselves, physically and emotionally. Age is but a number... In full disclosure, I'm a bit older (my pictures are current) but I look for a very youthful person to be my companion. I refer to state of mind and outlook on life. I'd rather you spend more time on workouts than on makeup, creating new things rather than mending old ones, and embracing new opportunities rather than dwelling over things lost or that could have been. I don't mind fantasy, partying and looking hot (guilty as charged), but no amounts of make-belief, accessories or blush make up for a toned body and a great mind.

After one year on this site-- without regrets--I have a sense that perhaps online dating isn't for me. Too much gaming and often people seeking to replace that which they lost in the past and is missing from their lives. I'm not going to be that, because I'm not your traditional guy... . I didn't grow up in the US, dating isn't something I find natural or healthy for that matter. It's not transparent, because you're skeptical about meeting creeps, and too much focused on an agenda, and love connections don't happen that way in my experience.

I write well, and I've written often to many women on this site. But my skill, as a writer, and time are better spent writing about meaningful things for people who care and take the time to thoroughly read what I write. I'm not visiting OKCupid very often anymore. Should you write to me, I will get the message and I will reply. But please, don't ask me about what is already disclosed, and [lease provide me with your name. Anything less and I con't consider that you are serious about liking my profile and interested in meeting an otherwise unique, smart, educated, genuine and very witty guy.

Wishing you all much love, success and happiness. XV
