Because I spent most of the summer swimming, my hair got a lot lighter than it had been in a while. For the first couple weeks of school, everyone kept asking me if I dyed my hair. Thankfully, it's gone back to its usual shade of brown. :)
Books: I've read a smattering of the classics, and I've got a soft spot for Don Quixote and Anna Karenina. I should re-read them soon! I gravitate towards fiction.
Shows: I honestly don't watch a lot of television. I haven't actively followed a TV show since I was a teenager. Chopped on the Food Network is usually entertaining, and I'm a fan of Law and Order: SVU.
Music: Because I'm a Music Educator, I listen to anything and everything. Because I work with Elementary-age kids, I tend to avoid stuff with explicit lyrics, but I will give anything a shot. Usually I gravitate towards electro-swing, jazz, and/or classical. Check out Caravan Palace - Clash if you haven't heard it before! :)
Food: Not picky at all--I don't have any dietary restrictions, though I do try to be health-conscious when I choose off the menu. I favor sandwiches/burgers over noodles, and chewy things over soupy things. A good BLT and a chocolate malt will make me smile. I'm simple.
Video Games: From the hectic Nintendo offerings of New Super Mario Bros., Mario Kart, or Smash Bros. to the PS3 offerings Little Big Planet, Disgaea, or PixelJunk: Monsters, to the PC/Steam titles Dungeon Defenders, Sanctum 2, Team Fortress 2, or Terraria, I usually gravitate towards games that are colorful and youthful, have a stylized art style, or let you customize the appearance of your characters and environment.

I'm trying to figure out how OkCupid determines "Personality." I visit a profile and the person on the other side basically says "I like to play sports, ride ATVs, water ski, and skydive, and my goals are to visit every country in the world and eat the local cuisine, with nothing but a backpack to keep me company!" and then the list of people on the right side of the profile suggests six people who are "More adventurous." What criteria are being examined, here? :P
