My self-summary
Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
**Married but we've started the separation process.**

**These are based on real-life events. All of these are based on real-life events.**

I am looking for someone who sees a glass half full, sees most things in a positive light. Must enjoy running, skiing, skating, or being lazy. Someone who enjoys PC and tabletop gaming. I do not value image, but instead value civility, responsibility, and freedom. I can't stand anyone who voted for our current president; I am a social libertarian and fiscal conservative who believes in personal prohibition and the right of every fetus to a fair trial. I also don't believe our government should force us to invest in destructive practices, such as SSM. Just because the government doesn't prohibit something, doesn't mean you should do it.

I worship women who have responsibly created and raised children; responsible mothers are my heroes. From a strategic standpoint, our children secure our future. Without them, all of our enemies win.

I am Atheist, I relate to Agnostic folks, and I've visited many churches and consider Judeo-Christian folks to be my liberators and allies for freedom.

I have lived in Maine, North Carolina, Colorado, Oklahoma, Greenland, Hawaii, Afghanistan, Texas, and Japan, so we might be able to find some common ground on where we've lived.
What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
I'm a recently retired military officer. I'm continuing the transition to civilian life. I'm also a co-owner and alternate manager for several commercial properties around San Antonio, Texas.
I’m really good at
Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.
The first things people usually notice about me
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
Blue eyes. Tallness (to most women anyway).
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
Help your potential matches find common interests.
Books: Mary Shelley's Frankenstein; Shake Hands with the Devil (The Failure of Humanity in Rwanda); anything by Orson Scott Card (I love his politics too!).

Movies: Conan the Barbarian, Elizabeth, Joan of Arc, Lord of the Rings Trilogy, The Impossible, Extremely Loud Incredibly Close, Stand And Deliver, Pursuit of Happyness, Battle LA, The Hurt Locker, Mad Max Trilogy, Taps, Contact, Galaxy Quest, Last of the Mohicans, Little Big Man, Crouching Tiger Hidden Dragon, The Princess Bride, and so on!

Shows: Into the Woods--excited it is coming to the big screen. If the show has a cute sexual element, but not profane, I'll probably enjoy it (does that make me shallow?).

Music: Kylie Minogue, No Doubt, Katy Perry, Iron Maiden, Aerosmith, Guns N' Roses, Basil Poledouris, Manowar, The Cranberries, Live, and Shiny Toy Guns.

Food: I like American style. I do not think I've enjoyed any authentic food. I avoid seafood.

MMO Games: Star Wars : The Old Republic and The Elder Scrolls.

Favorite historical figures: Joan of Arc and George Washington.

Loved Ender's Game movie! Looking for someone with whom to watch Mad Max.
The six things I could never do without
Think outside the box. Sometimes the little things can say a lot.
My family, my house, a car, weekends, companionship, and games (PC and tabletop).

So many women are not here for boring...or, how imprecise.
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Global warming, lunch, or your next vacation… it’s all fair game.
How wonderful my children are, how they meet all my expectations with very little prompting, and how bright their future is.

How I'd like to work with my companion to gain the skill of massage therapy.

How much our over-sized government and those who support it (The Big Government Party) disgust me.

How Constitution-loving Americans must crank up their reproductive rate in the name of cultural preservation. All policies that discourage reproduction, such as SSM, should be shunned.

Why so many Americans are more concerned with renewable resources than renewable Americans.

How it amazes me that many women will argue that humans should not harm animals, and then they will turn around and say that a mother should be able to kill her unborn child even for something as selfish as convenience. Of course I am willing to listen, but in the end, I must weigh a human life versus your feelings, and I think human life wins. Judging from the sweeping negative reaction to this view, I guess it is only a matter of time until most babies are test-tube babies...or we will create a special class of immigrants to have our babies.

I'm so thankful that my representatives shut down the government for 16 days. My one complaint with former President Bush is that he did not shut down the government. I wish he had done so on numerous occasions.

How Nature is not kind, then we die.

How preserving the Earth is kind of fruitless since it could be wiped out in an instant anyway. I find more value in supporting human species redundancy.
On a typical Friday night I am
Netflix and takeout, or getting your party on — how do you let loose?
Mowing the lawn, then using my PC.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit

I'm not looking for an Alpha female, I've done that, doesn't fit my lifestyle. Alpha female to me is a perfectionist, workaholic, who treats those around her like her employees, even her spouse. Again, got the t-shirt, not looking to do it again.

You are fit and can run at least 5 kilometers.

You don't drink, curse, or do drugs.

You listen to conservative talk radio, and enjoy it.

You are a gamer and love geekdom!

Or you like skiing so much it hurts!

Please don't message me if you think that earning money is the same as spending money. Also don't message me if you think that government spending is an "investment".

Also, no smart phone zombies please.
