My self-summary
Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
I'm a huge music buff, and spend most of my days looking for more music to listen to and/or analyze. This has led me to specific styles and combinations of genres that surprisingly have become my favorites. I also enjoy video games, though I also enjoy being adventurous in the outdoors, so don't hold gaming against me.

I love doing pretty much anything that I am introduced to, some notable examples being roller coasters, biking, watching bad movies, D&D, a select few anime, word games, and bowling.

Some of my friends have told me that I'm incredibly adaptable with people, which leads me to making lots of strong relationships. I also would call myself a little bit of a goofball, as I like doing things that I don't see most people do, such as jumping into large snow piles, make painfully obvious jokes with a huge "GET IT?!" expression, and finding the weirdest (yet entertaining) videos on YouTube.

I love watching hockey, and think it is the best sport in the world (I still like all of the other sports, though...other than golf). I'm a Red Wings fan from birth, but I'm transitioning to the Blackhawks...slowly.
What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
I will be a Business Systems Analyst at CapitalOne very soon so...I guess that, for now!

I'm also currently doing sound/music work for a big online game called "Super Smash Flash 2", which has been a blast.
I’m really good at
Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.
Making people happy and making friends. I make it my life's goal to always be fun to be around, and I love getting laughs out of people, even if the laughs come from corny puns or gags.

I'm also very good at adapting and picking up new things. I'm a fast learner, and anything I don't know, I make it a goal to learn at least the basics as quickly as possible.
The first things people usually notice about me
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
My ability to adapt to any person's personality and find a way to make friends with them. Also my winning smile.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
Help your potential matches find common interests.
MUSIC: My go-to Pandora station is John Mayer, as I really like the kinds of music associated with him. Some other artists I'm in to include the Gorillaz, Muse, Jonathan Coulton, Parov Stelar, Morgan Page, Jake Kaufman, and plenty of media (film/game) composers.

BOOKS: John Dies at the End, Game of Thrones, Prism Pentad series, and the Scott Pilgrim series. Also lots of assorted music books.

MOVIES: I love comedies mostly, and I enjoy horror/thriller films in theaters, but exclusively with a date. I like practically any movie I watch, though, including entertainingly bad movies like The Room. Some of my favorites include The Prestige, Children of Men, Wreck It Ralph (already seen it twice!), Scott Pilgrim, anything with Jackie Chan, Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind, and Howl's Moving Castle.

SHOWS: As before, I tend to like comedies most on TV, but I also have a major soft spot for cartoons or goofy shows. My top 3 shows are Avatar (specifically The Last Airbender), Psych, and Archer. Other favorites include Gravity Falls, Misfits, 30 Rock, Big Bang Theory, Adventure Time, HIMYM, The Office, Arrested Development, Robot Chicken, Married With Children, and Louie. I'll also throw in Game Grumps, it's a YouTube show so I guess they count.

FOOD: Italian, burgers, Mexican...really anything, I'm not picky. Though I'm still learning how to cook food myself, for the most part.

GAMES (bonus category!): Bioshock Infinite, Team Fortress 2, Super Smash Bros, Portal, Bastion, Persona 4 (Golden), Marvel vs Capcom 3, Jetpack Joyride.

Global warming, lunch, or your next vacation… it’s all fair game.
What next to do with the day.
On a typical Friday night I am
Netflix and takeout, or getting your party on — how do you let loose?
Watching RiffTrax with my friends, playing games, going to the movies, surfing the Internet, exploring Chicago, or listening to (or making my own) music. Also, streaming stand up comedies and movies on NetFlix.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit

I love making intentionally bad art when I'm bored on my computer. It started out as a joke, but it's super fun now.

You like talking about music, movies, or any other entertainment medium. They're some of my favorite topics to discuss, and I like analyzing pretty much anything given to me to talk about either way.
