My self-summary
Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
I am never really sure what to write when I describe myself. I feel there is so much more to me than I could really convey here, but here is some of what makes me, me. First and foremost, I am a single (divorced) dad of two wonderful children. My kids are a big part of my life and I share custody with their mother. I'm sorry but, if you aren't cool with my having kids, then I am not the guy for you. I like taking my dog on long walks around the city. I have lived in NY my whole life but always seem to find new and interesting places. I am active and enjoy playing baseball or softball in pickup games in Central Park. I love the beach and go often in the summer. I am a big theater fan and often find myself on line at TKTS picking up tickets on short notice. I work in technology as a sales engineer designing large corporate storage systems. I work from home and make my own schedule which is great. I love to travel and have been to almost 20 countries across 5 continents but I have never been to Mexico. I'm not sure why though, it is on my list. I am a pretty good cook and can even make dishes like sushi, tomato sauce from scratch which I use in my Lasagna and Stuffed Shells. I make Middle Eastern dishes, Asian dishes and a Macaroni and Cheese that my friends always request when we have parties, but I can't bake, I never really got the hang of it.
What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
Raising my kids, exploring my surroundings, expanding my mind, broadening my pallet, and enjoying my life.
I’m really good at
Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.
I make pretty good decisions under pressure and I am handy to have around in a crisis. I am a really good at trivia and remember countless useless facts. I must be a good listener because so many of my friends come to me with their problems and I have learned not to offer advice unless asked for it.
The first things people usually notice about me
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
People always say that I am funny. In fact, I have been told many times that I should try my hand at stand-up comedy. I haven' t tried yet, maybe you could help me get up the nerve to give it a try.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food

Really, all of these things in one question? I have too many to list. (See my photos for some of my favorite books) I am a movie buff and have IMDB installed on my iPhone. I like almost all styles of music except country. (See my photos for some of my music tastes) I am a very adventurous eater and will try almost anything no matter how gross it may seem. You never know if you will like it till you try.
The six things I could never do without
Think outside the box. Sometimes the little things can say a lot.
My Kids
Laptop
iPhone
Starbucks
Music
Travel (can be anything from a road trip, to Vegas, to camping, to somewhere that requires a passport. I just cant sit still and not see the world.)
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Global warming, lunch, or your next vacation… it’s all fair game.
Whether or not this season will be the last season of the Simpsons? Now that everyone has cameras in their phones will we finally get definitive proof of Bigfoot, aliens, or the Loch Ness Monster? Did I learn enough chemistry in High School to set up a lab like Walter White and who would be my Jesse Pinkman?
On a typical Friday night I am
Netflix and takeout, or getting your party on — how do you let loose?
On my way to pick you up for a night out.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
Ask me when we first meet. I am definitely not announcing it here.
