What up, homeslices! I am a reasonably nerdy dude. I live by my own
policies and likes to do what pleases me, so long as it's not at
the expense of others. I'm curious about people and how they think
and where they come from... everyone's got an interesting story,
even the boring stories! I come up with a bunch of ideas all the
time and by god some of them actually come to fruition! I live for
my hobbies and my work pays for them, the biggest hobby being
music... you can often find me being a ham at open mics around the
area. I'm learning how to tune and fix pianos right now, which I
think is something I'd enjoy making a living from! Other times I'm
playing poker with a few friends or attempting to cook a recipe
I've never looked at before, hiking some random trail in the
vicinity, trying to make sense out of quantum mechanics (nowhere
close), or seeing if I can run 7 miles in under an hour (pretty
close). I start to get stir crazy if I spend too much time in my
comfort zone, hence why I'm here. Never was into the club scene,
and I avoid old town Scottsdale like the plague. Now that I've said
that, I'll find an excuse to go there sometime...
If you have any ideas on how to make good hummus let me know!
What I’m doing with my life
Modest contributions to the undermining of the status quo.
I’m really good at
Noticing random stuff, hearing pitch, making orchestral
arrangements, coming up with silly band names or other crackpot
ideas, giving off the impression that I know what I'm doing, fine
tuning every detail, making a cricket noise, tetris, bluffing,
kazoo, and leaving my keys in my car.
The first things people usually notice about me
I tend to stand in fourth position. My head's also kinda shiny in
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
As far as books and movies and such, I like anything that shows a
display of intelligence and insight, or at least energy and
effort... unless I haven't had coffee, then I just want something
mindless like Bob's Burgers or ABBA. No wait, ABBA before coffee
would probably be annoying as hell.
I take pride in having a bewildering and eclectic shuffle on my
Ipod. Everything from Grindcore to Prog Rock to Strauss Opera to
Free Jazz to that one Lisa Loeb song that everyone ages 28-40
knows. I love new music, and I give every genre a chance, but there
are some I tend to gravitate toward. New music excites me! I love
being opened up to new ideas!
I like food with ingredients that don't require a Ph.D. to
As for movies... the stranger the better.

Lentils, some kind of musical instrument, caffeine, water,
something to write on, good insoles.

Ways to avoid boredom.
How overrated body hair is.
The short-sightedness of human ambitions and how the impact on
existence of even the greatest people is ultimately temporary...

my daily experience.

On a typical Friday night I am

The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I know more early 80s soft rock than I can ever be proud of.
Even the nights are better... now that we're here together... even
the nights are better, since I fouuuund yooooouuuuu! Oh Air Supply,
you are adorably lame.
