My Self-Summary
I have what some might consider an unhealthy obsession with The
A-Team. The same might also be said of my love of Journey. I like
winning at things. About 90% of my conversations start out "I was
listening to some show on NPR the other day and...". (I think that
last period was unnecessary but I just went with it) I never spell
'unnecessary' right on the first try. I like people with good
punctuation and grammar skills. I'm a big fan of picnics. I think
life is best lived on a road trip. I like people who can make me
laugh.
What I’m doing with my life
Currently, my life is pretty much centered around my new puppy.
Other than that, I spend time singlehandedly revolutionizing the
art world as we know it. Not really. But I do produce art as a
living. Currently I'm also trying to master riding my bike with no
hands. (I have hands, just trying to balance without using them.)
I’m really good at
Going off on tangents. Boggle. And Scrabble. I excel at smack
talking. I'm really good at making pies. I'm adept at writing
long-winded run-on sentences. That was not an example of one.
My favorite books, movies, music, and food
In stream of conscious order: basically any David Foster Wallace
(may your sweet brilliant head rest in peace); Dynamo Donuts, or if
you prefer, Doughnuts; Wes Anderson movies, my favorite being
Bottle Rocket (though I have a theory that the first one you watch
is your favorite); Pumpkin Ice Cream; Extremely Loud &
Incredibly Close; Bacon; Indie music mostly, I'd say; Really bad
80's action movies - Gymkata comes to mind; Lolita; Journey; and so
on.
On a typical Friday night I am
planning/executing a heist.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit here
I honestly believe I would be a kick-ass spy and am simply waiting
for someone in a suit to approach me and tell me I fit a profile.
(The fact that I'm broadcasting this on such a public forum is
probably a good indication of why this has not yet happened.)
