Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
Update: Probably not going to be on here too much for a while.
Thinking it's just time for a sabbatical; going to take a few
months to introspect, pontificate, and take care of a few things
that are bigger than dating.
As always, feel free to message if you're up for a chat, I can
never have enough friends :D.
I'm personality driven; I love getting to know people. You've got
to be passionate about something, no matter how dull you think it
might appear to others. Also I just found out today AT&T thinks
I'm a "valued customer," so there's a ringing endorsement from one
of the world's largest companies.
I do have a little bit of that Southern gentleman thing going on,
but not in the "women are weak and need to be constantly helped"
I work as a manager and web scripter/programmer for the
Southeastern Conference. It's kind of odd that I work in sports;
even though I work out and I like sports, I'm really a nerd at
heart: I'm into Doctor Who, Red Dwarf, comic books, and reading
astronomy papers for fun. My work gets hectic around football
season but it's really rewarding and I love all the logic
challenges that crop up.
I'm a very light and not entirely serious person who loves abstract
and deadpan comedy. Bob Newhart, Noel Fielding, Patton Oswalt,
Julie Klausner, I'd say they're in my top ten - and my ideal night
is the night where you just can't stop laughing, because those are
the memorable ones.
I'm really blessed to have the people in my life that are in my
life. But if I have a tragic fault, it's that I'm selfish and I
just want to know more. If you think the same way, we should be in
What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
I love working out - I've got a small home gym, and try to do about
6 miles of jogging daily and some lifting every other day, plus
some Sweatin' To The Oldies.
I bought a horse about a year ago with my best friend; a former
racehorse named Honeypot, she was adorable and I couldn't say no,
though I only get to see her when I take trips to Dallas.
Job and employment wise: I'm really passionate about my job, but if
it's not your cup of tea, I've got a life outside of it that I can
keep you entertained with.
I’m really good at
Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.
- Making up lyrics to instrumental tunes. (I think I still have the
lyrics I made up to Sonic the Hedgehog back in the day scrawled in
a notebook someplace back at the childhood homestead).
- Limbo, seriously. I might be a little out of practice, but I have
won numerous competitions.
- Bachata, or any kind of latin dance really.
- Identifying different types of vinegar by smell. Never said it
had to be useful.
The first things people usually notice about me
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
My uncanny similarity to Steve Urkel. Except for the high pitched
voice, the lankiness, the face, the hair, the glasses, the
suspenders, and my not being black, we're practically twins.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food

These sections people just skip over I think, but I pretty much
read everything. A friend of mine moved away and he had boxes of
books that he was going to pitch. They now reside in my office and
I will try to get through all of them eventually. I can't wait to
read Confederacy of Dunces again.
Bob's Burgers is the only thing I watch on live TV anymore, but
I'll watch a lot of stuff on Netflix. I have a soft part for the
Law & Orders, Perry Mason, Dragnet, all those fun crime
Music: Oingo Boingo, Michael Jackson, Björk, Lady Gaga, Alice in
Chains, Stan Rogers, Queen, Rolling Stones, anything funk.
Food: I love to cook, here's my "last week I made this" list that
is woefully out of date now:
Smoked salmon with scrambled eggs on a toasted croissant
The six things I could never do without
Think outside the box. Sometimes the little things can say a lot.
I could probably drop everything if I had to and move to Yukon and
build a house out of snow (which is something I genuinely know how
to do), so I can pretty much do without.
On a typical Friday night I am
Netflix and takeout, or getting your party on — how do you let loose?
in or out or at the in n out
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
I didn't know "zillion" was a made up number until I was about....
I thought it came after trillion!
