My self-summary
Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
I'm fascinated by the world in general and the vast array of experience and knowledge within it! Some what disappointed that we only get one chance at it, would love to be able to live life as a (insert gender) (insert profession) living in (insert country).

An optimist with a sarcastic bent. A liberal with the associated interests in the isms, vegetarianism, feminism, secularism, etc.
What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
I'm a nursing assistant at the BRI which mainly involves taking blood, which I'm quite good at! Although I tend to faint if someone takes my blood.
In case you are wondering you are only given a two hour training session before you are let loose on the patients. Sticking electrodes on hairy men, I let them rip off the tags. I like to think it helps involve the patient in their care.

In the future I'm going to train to be a diagnostic radiographer. Nothing quite like combining physics and biology to help folk out in a direct way. Plus who doesn't like huge superconducting magnets spinning at high speeds.

I really want to visit some what bizarre sites around the world. Pripyat for example, an empty city close to the site of the Chernobyl nuclear disaster in the Ukraine that is slowly being taken over by nature. Eerily at the time the fair was in town leaving a ferris wheel still in the center.

Also I would love to travel to see the Hessdalen lights in Normay.

I've been mainly reading Science Fiction and can't quite get over Iain M Bank's Culture series. Other authors that I enjoy include: H.P. Lovecraft, Arthur C. Clarke, Boris Strugatsky, Ray Bradbury, Kafka, Kurt Vonnegut, Ursula LeGuin, and Margaret Atwood.

Colombo! I think I would rather have him on the case then Sherlock Holmes. More lists: Game of Thrones, Hannibal, Fargo, The Wire, Star Trek, Dexter, Lillyhammer, Fringe, Cowboy Bebop, Firefly, X-Files etc

I like quite a wide variety of music but mostly a focus on rock and folk. I've recently been listening to Of Montreal, The Builders and the Butchers, and Queens of the Stone Age.

My favourite podcast is Monstertalk. It looks critically at cryptozoology and looks to trace their cultural origins.

And just because I want to mention them I absolutely love Charlie Brooker, Adam Curtis, and Jon Ronson!
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Global warming, lunch, or your next vacation… it’s all fair game.
Why must the cat sleep in the centre of the bed and why moving a cat can become such an ethical dilemma.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
I sometimes pretend I'm a spaceship when I run, a slow crippled spaceship at times...

I'm looking for someone to share new experiences, challenges me, or simply hanging on on a Sunday night. I want to do some exploring, mostly abandoned sites!

Also if you knit I need a teacher! I dream of the day I can produce knitted animals, mostly cats.
